That one is hard

Kill the Arl anyway becasue of all the people he had killed. As a gray warden you need to do what it takes to end the blight, even if it takes to let your own parents die.

What if... the bridge over the dead trenches was destroyed?

Depends.

If before you get to the Anvil, the lack of a Paragon;s support eventually ends up causign a civil war in Orzammar.

If after, the Wardens eventually find a tunnel to the surface and have to return to Orzammar the long way around.

What if you used the right of conscription on Bhelen in order to settle the dispute over the throne?

Bhelen would survive the Joining (provided by Riordan), earn Paragon status for his part in the Blight, and return to Orzammar more powerful than any mere king. Also possibly sire an Old God Child on the side. (Maker's breath, what an AU.)

Then you'd have a companion who complains more than Alistair.

What if...Zevran was successful in his attempt to assasinate the Wardens?

Ferelden would be overrun by the Blight because there would be no one to destroy the Archdemon.

Then he'd be dead too, and since Eamon would be useless to me, he'd die to, since I sure as hell would be chasing fairy tales to revive his sorry ass. And Redcliffe would not only be dead, but Connor the abomination would be running the place, since I'd see no reason to visit in the first place. A happy ending for everyone!:wizard:

Q:  What if dog became an abomination?

A:  I'd kill him and then settle into a massively deep depression that even Alistair might not be able to pull me out of.

Well, since I actually do find him useful, the question is a no-go, since its a matter of opinion on whether or not someone or something is useful.

Q: What if the Architect actually showed up in origins and offered to help, admitting that he started this whole mess in the first place?

Then we wouldn't have the buggy mess that is Awakening.

What if...Ser Cauthrien stood her ground against Loghain when he ordered the retreat?

Then she would have been crushed by the much larger than anticipated horde or darkspawn, just as Cailan and the wardens were.

Then Morrigan couldn't poke fun at Alistair throughout the Warden's quest.

Swiftrunner would eat them.

He'd be the true power behind the Orlesian throne.

What if...instead of abandoning a Warden who spares Loghain and crowns Anora, Alistair drew his sword and attempted a coup?

Then the entire plot of Origins would most likely be void, because Maric would have listened to Loghain and would not have died at Ostagar.

To answer this, since no one else has...

Hell yeah I'd take that option.

What if you had to choose between Connor and Teagan, instead of Connor and Isolde? (And no happy Circle ending was available for that quest).

Teagan, hands down. I only kill Isolde because I can't stand her.

What if you could recruit either the bandit leader outside of Lothering or Ser Bryant (head templar in Lothering)? Who would you choose?

Ser Bryant - the Templars a veritable army onto themselves and are trained to be badass warriors. The bandit leader is not only a thief, but a coward and a less able fighter.

Orzammar would enter a new though brief age of prosperity and decadence for all, followed by a much longer age of poverty and depression for all (except me of course).

What if Mouse showed up and offered help in Broken Circle and/or Connor.
