Well, as far as to not wanting to deal with romance and sex-scenes, fun thing about ME is that you don't have to - if romances are silly, don't go to the trouble of pursuing them. I think that's a brilliant compromise. If you want to shoot, shoot. If you want to woo, woo. Its the option that is great for me. I guess that's one of the main reasons why I like this kind of content when its done well, it reminds me that I've earned my years and I'm allowed to watch what I want now - and maybe even eat ice-cream after desert. My game feels 'real' now, it plays out the way I'd want it to play out in an action-movie, the character is getting what I'd expect to be getting if I were risking my life for the galaxy. And I liked seeing a side-boob in Hackers way back in the day, it was just appropriate, so I like it my games now. The other reason is.. well, honestly its on every poster, side-of-cab, display window, and commercial for a new phone. Biology and genetics. I won't care anymore in 50 years, but not there yet.
So what would I like to see? Eh, I'll echo what's already on here. ME1 was more tastefully and well-done, ME2 was more realistic in that it was unique to the character, doesn't have to include boob in every option but should if its appropriate or more importantly if the artist thinks it would be artistic and a good idea... And I think at least some innuendo that it is recurring could be good. I mean, the character has already gotten together with most of them, and is a hero at this point - so should probably not spend half the game begging for it. Fade to black is fine, but its like bathrooms in a game - they don't do anything but you put them in there because otherwise everyone looks and go 'hey.... where does he...'.
Biggest hope? That I can keep Liara and Kelly too! I don't have to see it, fade to black if you want, just let me know I got to keep both!! Pretty please? We have poly relationships today (I've been in them, they're grrreat!), and this is thousands of year in the future in a spaceship where we are fighting giant space-lobsters with portable nukes - its just not that far of a stretch (Liara already hinted she was ok with it in ME1 and face it, Kelly kind of owes you with that whole 'not dissolved into acidic-components' bit) that maybe they're ok with the hero of the universe loving two people?
