I don't want to have to wait for several months until someone does a "bigger font patch" just so I can play the game.

Either do them bigger than last time as a default, or have built-in options for different font sizes.

Thank you.

Options would be the best bet id think.

Personally i had no problem with the font size. I play PC on a widescreen monitor at 1680x1050 resolution, i would guess that most font size issues were console based due to sitting further away from the TV compared to the PC?

Fonts were good for me too.... but I hope you do get the option to make them bigger.

Well either you have a very small/low res TV or very bad eyesight are the only reasons I could see as to needing bigger fonts. I suppose that would make it difficult to read descriptions on items of the dialogue wheel if you have trouble seeing it. My guess would be it'll probably be about the same size as in all BioWare games that came before it.

Could you show us pictures of how big you want them to be versus the size you find to small. Please state which version your going to play with like personal computer, playstation or xbox.

Also please state the size of the monitor or television screen your using.

Fonts were fine for me as well. ME2 is another story.

I found that if I set my Xbox display to "normal" instead of "widescreen" I have a much easier time reading the fonts on my standard definition 28" widescreen TV. ME2 is still a nightmare but since I'm finally upgrading to a 37" HD TV in 2 weeks that will no longer be a problem for me - just in time to start a ew DA/Awakening playthrough to import...not to mention finally getting the most out of ME.

The first time I hooked up to my flatmate's masive HD TV I was like "Wow - the clothes have layers??!!"

I agree with this, the dialogue font was fine, but the codex font in particular was miniscule at high resolutions. This is because unlike ME & ME2, there's no font scaling at all in DAO, so everything becomes increasing smaller as you up the resolution. I don't mind having small fonts in books, but I don't sit that close to the monitor compared to reading a novel. On my monitor the codex font is actually smaller than that in most books.

Interesting. I'm going to be hooking my next video card up to my TV. Either before DA2 or ME3, so I'm curious about this issue, too.

My eyesight is getting worse every year, so larger fonts would rule for me.

I should get glasses but that takes effort.

I think the biggest difference isn't the size of the font but solid white on solid dark blue vs serif brown on textured yellow. The font sizes are fine, but ME has much better contrast and lack of visual clutter.

Hey, it says Asari are female. I thought they were just sexless.

They consider themselves sexless since they don't know better. Like on their home planet before  space travel, they wouldn't have any concept of gender. But as humans we obviously see them as females, with their body shapes and voices. Some are quite masculine like that bartender on Illium (?).

I do hope the text size isn't the same as ME2, I couldn't read that at all so I missed out on some plot info and stuff.

Okay, that's just goofy.  The interaction panels should not get tinier at higher resolutions.  They should take up the same absolute portion of the screen.

I never thought DAO font was an issue, but I do remember ME2 font was very difficult to read for people on standard definition tvs. Hopefully this is not the case for DA2.

The only thing I had trouble reading was the codex on the Xbox 360.

My eyes are absolutely horrible so a larger font, or even a larger select menu, would be amazing for me.

I had no problems with fonts in DAO or ME2 and that was at 1920x1080 resolution.

This very much, I would definately love the ability to increase font size on high resolutions, this is rarely an option in games though.

I agreeImage IPB I find the information  in the codex very interesting, but to find a page I have to lose a lot of time, hopefully it will better implemented in DA2

Since I have awful eyesight larger font is always welcome. I had to constantly squint trying to reading the codex, both in Mass Effect and Origins, and even then I could barely read it.
