I'd like a new Normandy maybe something the size of a Cruiser that way when we have a space fight with a Reaper it will be more believable that Shepard's ship could actually do it.

That and I'm tired of flying around in a frigate.... Shepard is space Jesus and he still has a ship that is one step above a single pilot fighter.

I want the SR3 without the elevator. Gimme staircases. Don't like having to load every floor.

I hope it has both, but not the loading screen elevator, the actual animated elevator similar to SR1, using the elevator and stairs gave you perspective and scope, with SR2 I know I'm loading up another cell from the harddrive/sysmem and it detracts from the immersive element.

I'm guessing (and hoping) that the SR2 will simply return, and we'll just have a simple refit and get rid of those Cerberus decals (possibly optional). Having a third new ship would be rather trite at this stage.

The Cerberus crossed out with an N7 next to it, and a small Earth Flag painted on the side... the flag would look like this http://www.google.co...iw=1024&bih=677

/\\ no, that doesn't look very good.

I want to decorate my ship the way I can the cars in my garage in Forza 3.

Metallic pink daisies would look smashing over those Cerberus symbols.

I hope not, SR2 is not SR1, but it's still iconic, I think a prothean ship would be just below a reaper ship for a list of bad ideas.

Don't forget we never used the space in the cargo hold... there could be a **** load of NPC there, like they did in ME1.

The cargo hold are reserved for the new ME3 squadmates...

and some controlable mechs.

ahm you forget that the second Normandy is supposedly waaaay bigger than the original.  So much so that it can't enter planetary atmospheres (although it strangely still does in cut scenes).  I just assume that we don't even see the vast majority of it in the game.  Besides a refit would be costly and stupid depending upon the ending you chose.  and who says that they're all going to be on the Normandy?  If anything, they'll be more valuable on other worlds trying to reunite and stuff.  Very little can be accomplished on a ship in this regard.

I'm sure if Shepard returns to the alliance he'll find himself in a new Normandy. I don't think Cerberus would take too kindly to Shepard taking their ship.

It will be a new ship Normandy SR3, bigger & better than the old ones, SR1 was destroyed, and SR2 is a cerberus ship full of cerberus spying equipment, some might think it feels abit "unrealistic" to have 3 advanced unique warships in a row but hey, its a game and Normandy is a big symbolic ship in the ME trilogy, just think about the old star wars movies, what if there wouldnt be millenium falcon in 2nd and 3rd movie

If SR2 doesn't come back I want a Cruiser/battleship/Dreadnought sized ship.

surely Thane's dead from his lung-problem by the point ME3 kicks off so that's at least one bunk that should be free

And Wrex, who will most likely still be busy ruling Clan Urdnot -- if he's alive.
And Liara, who is obviously more useful to Shephard in her new role then she would be as another biotic on the team.

So 3 fewer.

Then, like people have suggested, all kinds of other people could quickly be written out if necessary...

Zaeed and Kasumi are done and paid, so why would they stick around?
Grunt could concievably return to clan Urdnot if you did his loyalty mission, or maybe he'll just join anyway if you didn't.
Legion will probably return to the rest of the Geth.

Etc.  I mean, I don't want to see everyone go.  But all kinds of people could go for any number of reasons.

We didn't pay Kasumi, we promised to help her.  At the end of that mission, she seemed very friendly with Shepard.. I imagine shes around for a while...:?

Well technically the game takes some liberties with ship classes.

Cuz its supposed to go fighter<corvette<frigate<cruiser<dreadnought battleship whatever

So SR1 was actually a corvette which makes more sense if you think about space and armaments it had.

SR2 is a full fledged frigate, which are supposed to be light cruisers that can fulfill roles a heavier larger ship cant (traditionally)

But I still agree with you, I would like Shep to have a SR3 cruiser size ship but with the advancements of the Normandy stealth and speed.

I mean it would make total and complete sense since from the time we died at the end of ME1 start of ME2 it would make sense that the alliance would want to replace and build upon the success of the Normandy.

I can see how riding around in the SR2 is cool but its not really that big and wouldn't stand a chance against what we are going to see. Possible something big enough to store the SR2 would be cool so we can use it on covalent missions where a cruiser etc would be detected or is just a waste to send

Wonder if the Alarm clock in your cabin will play ME2 music like the ME2 clock played ME1.

(Would be funny to start a little hanky panky with a LI then start playing the Suicide Mission theme, no pressure there :D)

No Normandy SR3...or Sr2 for that matter. New ship, new name!

A big-ass dreadnought with BFG's!

But the name? Hmm...

SSV "Reap THIS!"

SSV "Hard Diplomacy"

I want an even stealthier ship that is covered in vaseline, with an A.I. that only says, "Shh. It's okay, it's okay." I will call it the SSV Back-Door Entry and it will specialize in risky docking procedures.

Shepard won't need to put everyone on the Normandy. It's not a Japanese train. Shepard will probably start with all the NPCs from the first game, then one by one they'll get left behind as you recruit their different races. In the end, it will just be Shepard and Stinky, a friend he makes from toilet paper, piloting the Normandy back to earth to fight the Reapers.

Damn you! I loled hard, forgot that I currently have bronchitis and hurt myself! XD

There haws been no indication that the Normandry SR2 wont be big enough to fit in an all new Squad since none of the Zombies may even return to Squaddie status.

Perhaps another alternative is that Shepard will get to choose his ship for the next one, customize it, and make sure what he picks is up for the next mission.

I got no problem refitting the SR2. Cerebus logo needs to go though.

To be able to customize, not just upgrade would be nice too. To customize certain features like you could have increased armor at the sacrifice of speed or vice-versa. Better weapons at the expense of something else. Or more to the point, you could upgrade everything to a certain level and then be able to customize your defenses, etc. beyond that but not everything. Just idea.
