Ok, I preordered the CE from Ea store (at least... I think I did), and I had about 97 dollars in my account. I swear that after I preordered, it went down to about 30, like it should have. Now... I have 97 back in my account. Does this mean something went wrong with my preorder or what? I've never dealt with EA store before and this has me a wee bit concerned. I also have my proof of purchase email, if that matters

They don't charge you until the game ships. They probably messed up at first then fixed it.

OH DEAR LORD THANK YOU. It said "order unsubmitted" when I checked my account and I had a mini melt down. I think it probably charged me at first to just check to see if Iw as good for the money lol

I wouldn't worry about it too greatly as some have been posting similar problem with wonky DA pre orders. I myself have 5 order unsubmitted on my account alone for my pre order.

Thanks guys, I wish I could have seen the progression of my reactions as I looked at my TD Bank account, then my ea account, then back lol

They tend to do that to make sure that you have enough money in the account for the pre-order; then they refund the money and take it out again when the game ships - the actual charge never goes beyond Pending. Kind of bad for the blood pressure ;) but its their process.

Just keep an eye on it the day of launch, you will see the charge go through again. Make sure the money is there of course :D

I would strongly suggest that you read EA Store's Terms of Sale.

Within it states that, "Your submission of an order only constitutes an offer by you to buy at the price and terms stated in the order. If you would like a copy of the records applicable to your order, including the EA Online Terms of Service and Terms of Sale applicable to your Contract, please contact Customer Support by visiting http://support.ea.com."

they do that to ensure the acct is there like a hold charge almost but then it clears out after their systems acknowledges the acct is verified and indeed is there, like above said you'll get charged when it ships or night before.

Considering I have never had a problem with the 6 or so purchases I made there, then I would have to say yes.

I'm somewhat concerned because they have no way to alter my order, and somehow, when I checked the order status, there was a 2 after my name. I mean, the address is right, and the name is right, only there's a 2 after it. Should I worry about that, seeing as how it's on my billing and shipping address? I just really don't want to call them and be on the phone for 4 hours.
