Now i admit i particularly don't care for the armor (no issue with the helmet though, more interested in the heavy weapon as i don't like Adept in ME2 but i'd like to use singularity) but i really dislike platform exclusive stuff (not counting modding or potentially better graphics on PC). Feels like a customer is punished for favoring one platform over another.

My country does not even have a gamestop ... that said, as cool as the black hole thing sounds, I dont see myself buying it.OSUfan12121 wrote...
My town doesnt even have a gamestop so i missed out on them, im hoping it comes to PC/360 tho, its the only DLC im missing.
I am sure there are few PC/360 owners who probably would buy it, but I find it hard to care.

Even if that is true, wouldn't there be some time limit in which GameStop owns the code? I mean the codes expired already.scyphozoa wrote...
It occurs me to that PS3 might be getting this because of a legal caveat. Gamestop might have the distribution rights to Terminus on Xbox/PC but not for PS3 because it didn't exist at the time of the agreement. So now, Bioware can distribute it to the PS3 crowd. Hmm, I'd like to see Terminus gear on Cerberus Network for every platform, but I'm not so sure that we will.

I know I won't buy a Collector's Edition just for a couple of items. I already own the game after all. Why buy another one? Seems like a waste of money to me. I'd buy a CE for ME3 if it came out the same time of the regular edition but I wouldn't buy CE if I already owned the regular one.
EDIT - A GOTY Edition that included ME1 and ME2 would be cool for those who didn't get to play the first one. Not everyone has a good enough internet connection to download a digital copy or would even want a digital copy.

I have to say the gun isn't that big
of a deal. I have it and it is less effective than singularity, and the
max ammo for it is around 8 I think.
Really? Even with maxed singularity, the blackstorm is a lot more damaging.

Now Bioware shut the other thread without bothering to respond. They don't know how to handle a community at all...they could've tried sorting out the issue, but instead they try ignoring it.
It's much easier to just close threads and hope the discussion goes away by itself.

Still it is nice to see Bioware carrying on the "up yours PC/360 gamers" line by denying those that want this on the PC/360 from the opportunity of getting it.
Last time I checked, PC/360 players already had the opportunity.

I don't think anyone enjoys content exclusive to one platform. All this issue brings up is what if one platform gets exclusive content for ME3? I doubt it will happen but it can make some people wonder. Because honestly if there were exclusive ME 3 content who would that benefit? Exclusionary business tactics are utter crap and I believe Bioware wouldn't do it, so please don't start now.
I don't mind the period where it's free. I do mind not releasing it to everyone after it becomes paid DLC. By the way the only whiners are the people complaining about the people who want equality? Now what pray tell is more childish? Asking for things to be fair and equal to all users, or people stamping their feet and saying that we're complaining?

I'm glad that we are able to bring the Mass Effect experience to PS3 gamers. And how is finally bringing the game to a new platform a year later an "up yours" to those who already have the game? As I said in the other (now locked) thread, which some people seemed to take issue with, sometimes other people get nice things, too.charmingcharlie wrote...

EDIT: I should add that I really appreciate the "I'd love it if we also get the opportunity to get the content" attitude that most folks are demonstrating in this thread. We really aren't trying to screw anyone over, honest.

There is nothing to "sort" You had the chance to get it. Now new customers on the PS3 have the same chance. Bioware has the right to do as they please with their property without the consent of a bunch of fans throwing a hissy fit.

Bringing the game to a new platform isn't an issue, the exclusive content is.Stanley Woo wrote...
