Meh.

Ok so i found out today, after getting the Overlord DLC for Mass Effect 2, that i have two accounts. I got this one, where my games are hooked up to in-game(DA:O and ME2) and where all my DLC's are one, and then apparently my Account i use in here as forum account(called Dreddo) and that's the one i bought Overlord DLC with ( /facepalm)

So what i like to hear is... Are there any way to merg these two accounts, or do i have to put all my social stuff over to this one, and buy Overlord one more time, and then forget about the other Account? Would prefer the first option ;)

Thx for the help in advance.

You should contact EA support (pref. Live chat) to get the overlord DLC on the right account - odd that it still works, but its best to have 'all your eggs in one basket' anyways. Before you do that, though, what exactly do you mean by 'social stuff'?

its bc that i have another account in here, and aparently i have used that as my forum account, which means that i have groups on there(including one that i am owner of).

Well, I suppose you can try asking EA Support, but i seriously doubt they could do what you ask as easily as you could yourself. Not to encourage such behavior(!!!), but it might be wise to keep the accounts as they are (aside from the Overlord DLC)...if you were to ever say something worthy of a ban with your 'social' account, then it would get the hammer, and you should still be able to access all the DLC you've bought and payed for through your 'gaming' account.

To 'merge' the accounts yourself, you could simply make a list of all the things you should do - friends to invite, groups you join, etc. - and send off the requests with your gaming account. The same can likely be said of the group you created; simply use your 'social' account to send an invite to the 'game' account...after the 'gaming' account joins, use your 'social' account to promote the 'gaming' account to a high rank (not sure if you can impose the 'creator' rank, but 'co-founder' should be good enough). Then, assuming you have everything copied from the 'social' account to the 'gaming' account, log into your social account and go to Profile>Account settings - click the 'delete account' tab, and delete it...the only questionable thing would be your group, which i assume would fall to the most senior rank within the group (i.e. your gaming account).

EA can merge accounts. My account is a combination of two accounts I made when the DAO character creator was released. I forgot the login for the first one and then later found it... but I had DAO on one account and DLC on the other... EA live chat did indeed merge the accounts for me. I had to have them try three different nights, but each time they got more and more moved over. It did take some time, but they pulled it off.

well funny enough i was told(in live chat) that they couldn't merg two accounts, but no big problem as i they unlucked the DLC to this account, and i now use this one in here instead of the other, so that's inactive.

@Dsurian

Well i won't follow your choice. As "wise" as it seems, i look at it like this: If i do something which results in a ban, i will take that ban straight on, i deserved it, and i respect that. I wouldn't "cheat" me to another way of continuing.
