i keep thinking about it.... ME3 is comming a bit sooner than i expected. what will we do when the trilogy ends?
pretty sure we gonna have some DLC but thats probably it...
i dont want this to end so soon
would be cool to have a ME game with a prequel about First Contact War war though...

But seriously... i cant imagine any scifi game comparable to the ME series.

We'll see... first of all, let's see the third game and if BW will do a mess at the end. Then... knowing EA we have to expect spin-offs, prequels or even a whole new storyline. They won't stop to milk the cow.

well if they are going to keep up the awesome work, then amen to that

Knowing ea they probably try to attract FPS consumers and make a separate ME multiplayer. :'(

I remember when mass effect 1 ended , I was so sad , and the "just bring you back to the main menu after the credits thing " didnt made things better . I think Im gonna try and make the longest playthrought for mass effect 3

I think the guys have said that the mass effect franchise won't end with ME3, just Shepard's story. So who knows.

You invent a new bad guy and create a whole new trilogy.



I mean Star Wars has been doing it in the Extended Universe Books continually.



Bioware can go a lot of different routes from enemies from another galaxy, to former reaper servants now regain their control and do what the reapers did. A mass effect relay to another galaxy for a more explorer type game. A coup d'etat by someone on the council and you get a civil war.



The possibilities are endless. Now the story of Shepard ends with ME3, but I seriously doubt that the story of the universe will not be returned to. ME makes too much money for EA and Bioware that they just stop the use of the IP.

Shepard wasn't even born when the first contact war happend,also of coarse the will continue it
the universe there's a rumour going around there will be a citadel gta styled game,were you play as a C-SEC dectective solving murder case's and stuff like that and it soley take's place aboard the citadel,also Casey Hudson stated new character's and new alien race's will be introduced in novel's and comics

We should appreciate the fact that we were the lucky generation to experience the beauty that is the Mass Effect Trilogy. We should be grateful that we will carry this memorable experience to our graves.

Good point. On of the most interesting space opera of the last years, and even interactive. Even if there won't be nothing else after ME3 we should be enough pleased and fullfilled of good memories.

Probably what I do with my favourite books.

Relive the experience as many times as I can before my wounds are healed by the empty void, then moving on (and occasionally clash with them for old times sake).

I will wait for the next shiny object to come along. I have lots of hobbies, I won't die once I've completed my Mass Effect journey. And I will by that time have six XBox Shepards and six Playstation 3 Shepards to play through with, so I'll probably be ready to go on to something else.

We play Mass Effect Online and the Garrus spin-off, and enjoy a Mass Effect cartoon series, movie, and a new handheld RPG starring everyones favorite quarian (kal reegar).

All are completely viable possibilities.
