Unable to link my Project with my Group

I created a Project: "Using DA Mods for Dummies".

Problem 1
I tried using the "Edit Project" page to associate it with my Group "Using DA Mods for Dummies", but only one group appears in the drop-down menu, even though I belong to seven different ones.  (Somehow, I don't think that the "[France] DA French Modders" group is going to be much help on this...)

Problem 2
I posted a screenshot of my attempt to solve Problem 1 to the Project Gallery, but had connectivity issues and thought it didn't upload.  So I ended up double-posting it, and now I can't figure out how to delete the duplicate image in the Gallery.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx!

1. This may be the drop-down limited to one option, combined with options listed by time of creation in ascending order. I would guess that if you remove yourself from all groups created before this one it will be available, but naturally that isn't exactly ideal.

2. I have attempted to replicate the problem but so far without luck.

Using IE8's Developer Tools, the Firefox Firebug extension, or something similar, you can change the ID of the group that appears in the drop-down. This appears to do the job. To remove a project, leave the drop-down blank (same as specifying ID = 0) and save again.

In your user profile, change your associated Network to DABuilder network as opposed to "BioWare Community"See if that helps.

Changed my affiliation to "DA Builders", but no effect on the Project's "Groups" drop down.

Looked at the sourcecode for the page, and saw the "Group ID = 0", and the ONE (wrong) group listed as a possible choice, but there's no way for me to modify the page itself. (I can't post an edited page back to the webserver.)

I do have a note in to Jeff Rousell (BSN WebMeister), but he's been busy with more important stuff, like getting the "Staff of Parthalan" entitlement working properly. Thanks again, Jeff!

Also make sure your subnetwork is Dragon Age builders. I remember encountering this exact problem long ago and I recall changing these (or similar) fields fixed it.

Edit: Sorry I see you have that as your subnetwork. I'll see if I can remember exactly what I did to fix it.

Ok change your *group* category as well, to Builder groups. That should do it.

None of the other groups I belong to show up when I edit my project info in the group drop down menu. Only the ones that come under the same category

That did it!  Changing the Group's  Category to "General Builder Groups", and the Game-Specific category to "DA Builder Groups", I could associate the project with the Group.  Thx, Dahlia Lynn!

As for problem 2. If you click on the photo in the project gallery, you should see a "Delete Photo" link right below the image.

Thx again, Jeff.  Both problems solved, and I learned to manage things here a little better.
I think we can lock this thread now. Image IPB

I wouldn't say lock the thread..in case anyone wants to ask something related ;)

What you might want to do is add to it's title "[Solved]"
