I'm hoping we get to hear Fem!Hawke, get love interests confirmed so people can get through the being disappointed stage so they're at the SQUEE stage when the game come out, get the silly facebook game ready so I have something to do, announce if it's Anders or not so people can stop bickering, and confirm that I can buy a pet kitty for Hawke, because Hawke wants a pet kitty. Why, Bioware, would you deny me a pet kitty? Do you hate kitties?

That seems like what happened. I can't imagine almost anything announced today would actually have been hyped up for 11 months had it not been originally DA2, or possibly even an aborted DA:O expansion.

My guess would be that, I'm sure they had something more involved than Morrigans book and mirror side quest DLC.....

I had hoped most for the bolded. I would like to hear FemHawke's VA now, very much. I would also like to know the potential LIs, and to a lesser extent, that final person in the wheel o' suspects. I had always figured this was the original release date for DA2 and a delay happened, but I had hoped in light of that, and with only a month and a week to go, we would start getting some of the information we've been clamoring for for a while.
