NWN2 Itself, no expansions, fully updated.

Description: When in conversations or watching a cut scene the mouth animations move to fast ( like double speed) and once the animation has completed it skips onto the next line of text (as if i had pressed the mouse button)  and the audio doesnt get a chance to finish before its forced into the next line.

Now i can read it quick enough to still keep a grip of whats going on however its extremely annoying... I have fully updated and patched, have searched the old forums and found nothing apart from one other person with my problem who didnt get a response :(.

I have also tried the client extension, no change.... anyone have any ideas for this at all?

Thanks in advance,

jeez i hate to say this 'cause its really not a solution
re*nst*ll

your specs look fine .. better 'an mine
i mean, something's causing it, and it's hard to believe its in just the game itself, but might be in its interaction with the new OS
in the old days I would have said *kick it* .. but nowadays it's more practical instead to have a coffee

sry.

I haven't seen this before. Does this issue always repro or only at specific times? Is there any difference in the (incorrect) conversation speed if you reboot your system, or is it the same (incorrect) speed always?

thanks for the replies,

It happens all the time, every conversation since the beginning of the game, after a reboot there is no change, it is a problem that has been prevailent since first install... I've not had this problem before and have played through NWN2 a few times before on vista and even xp but this isthe first attempt with 7 :(

Have reinstalled also and no change... I can get a video uploaded somewhere to demonstrate if that will help anyone?

Thanks again,

hm ( thinking to myself here ) if the animation speeds up only in cutscenes & convos, what's unique - in the engine about - the way w7 does - those

Sky? this def. needs more coffee.

Been messing around with the settings for ages, no change.... thought possibly a v-sync thing in a moment of madness but if that was the issue then it would have been happening all the time..... as expected no change.

Im still playing through, just reading quickly lol.... that reminds me, ill go set the affinity to single core.... thanks for the pondering, think of anything let me know ;)

Realistically, I would probably need to be able to reproduce this locally in order to triage what is going wrong here based on the information above -- without a specific condition that triggers the issue it's and without local access to it, it's going to be tough to understand what exactly is ultimately going wrong in this case.
