What would you add, change or remove? As long as it has to do with the Normandy you can customize it.

I would add :
a Holographic similuator room
a Mantis Gunship
antipersonnel weaponry for the ship to use during ground battles, the the Collector base is an example.
some kind of awesome lounge. We are not gonna be fighting all the time and the ship is kinda boring and yes I know we're military.

I would change:
the colour scheme of the hull, I bet the Normandy would be much better in the stealth aspect if it was black.

I would remove:
the Cerberus symbol on the ship, my Shep would have a much cooler looking emblem.

So what would you do with the Normandy?

More firepower... projectile weapons, combat drones, missiles etc. Capable of being called in for air strikes. The shuttle should also be combat capable.

And some sort of boarding craft to get a squad inside a reaper.

A: I would add a damn medigel and heavy weapon ammo replenisher, firstly.

B: I would add a merchant to buy extra upgrades.

C: An extended lounge of sorts, not just a mess hall, but a lounge with some kind of entertainment.

D: A combat training room - like having a Pinnacle Station on the Normandy, essentially.

E: Engineer Adams. *sniff*

F: Would expand the Captain's Quarters, let me bring on the varren from Tuchanka, and listen to Galactic News networks.

G: Allow us to go to the garage, just for kicks.

H: Combat upgrades for the ship itself.

Holographic similuator room is Star Trek material. Holographic technology in the Mass Effect universe is not terribly more advanced compared to the 21st century. Example: Donovan Hock (one of the richest people in the Galaxy)'s giant floating head, Kasumi DLC.

A Mantis Gunship would be most welcome.

Antipersonnel weaponry: The SR2 is unable to land on planets, unlike the SR1. So it would be redundant.

Lounge: Kasumi's room. I like mixing cocktails there. It has a tanning bed too.

The colour scheme of the hull does not matter. In the kind of distance in stellar combat, sensors for electromagnetic radiations (Mostly infrared due to heat emissions; the ME core would also leak a lot of neutrinos if Dark Energy is used) far outrange the naked eye.

The Cerberus symbol on the ship should definitely be removed. Docking a ship with that symbol on Tuchanka, Illium, or the Migrant Fleet is basically like walking through Harlem with a giant sign saying "I hate n*ggers."

What I would do:

1. Remove the Cerebrus symbols, even if I'm working for Cerebrus.

2. Trash the Hammerhead with my Claymore.

3. Add one Mantis Gunship

4. Add two Illium style sky cars.

5. Add backward facing cannons so that the Normandy can return fire when being chased.

6. Upgrade the stealth system with Geth cloaking technology.

7. Add a gym. Shepard will hold interspecies friendly sporting events.

8. Add a dartboard to the Captain's Cabin so that Shepard can throw knives when she's bored/needs stress release.

9. Fire Rupert as cook. Hire decent cooks. Perhaps one Human, one Asari (who also knows Turian/Quarian cousine).

10. Restrooms on every deck, and one especially designed for Joker.

11. Give beds to Tali, Jacob, Garrus. Legion can dance all night. Grunt prefers the floor.

Not really. While it cant land, it can get pretty close. Close enough that it could be of assistance in a ground battle.

- Holodeck
- Places for my squad to sleep (I think Miranda, Jack, and Kasumi are the only ones with beds)

     o   Patterns
     o   Weapons
     o   Logos

·    Customizable Interior
     o   Paint
     o   Lighting
     o   Logos

·    Customizable Crew Uniforms
     o   Colors
     o   Patterns
     o   Material
     o   Design (Types of clothing)

·    Access to the Cargo hold
·    A Alliance or Turian Fighter (modified for three people)

·    A Mantis Gunship (one from Zaeed’s loyalty mission has three seats)
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

I have two designs in mind for my Normandy in ME3 provided Bioware allow it.

1.
    a. The Hull

               i.      Will keep the same pattern that it currently has but the will be painted with a Silver primary color and a Blue secondary color (Black is secondary currently) and a Gold/Yellow trim (Cerberus Yellow is what it is currently).
ii.      The Logo will be a S.P.E.C.T.R.E. logo that is Blue and Gold.

    b. The Interior (same on both designs except for the logos)

              i.      Paint would be the same White but the lighting would be either Blue (SR1) or Red like a situation room kind of thing. The logos would stay the same color but on this design it would be a S.P.E.C.T.R.E. logo.

    c. The Uniforms
              i.      The Colors would be a White Primary and a Blue secondary
ii.      The pattern would be similar to the Cerberus design
iii.      The Material would be Same as above
iv.      My staff would have Council logos on their shoulders instead of Cerberus
2.
    a. The Hull

               i.      Will keep the same pattern that it currently has but the will be painted with a Black or Dark Grey primary color and a Red secondary color and a White trim
ii.      The logo will either be a Red and White N7 logo or a Red and White Alliance logo.

    b.      The Interior

               i.       Paint would be the same White but the lighting would be either Blue (SR1) or Red like a situation room kind of thing. The logos would Red and Silver in color but on this design it would be a N7 logo.

    c.       The Uniform

               i.      The Colors would be a Dark Grey Primary and a Red secondary
ii.      The pattern would be similar to the Cerberus design
iii.      The Material would be Same as above
iv.      My staff would have Alliance logos on their shoulders instead of Cerberus

There is how I want my Ships to look and just some of what I want haha

Edited for missing word

- External disruptor torpedo tubes (mentioned in codex)

- Alliance fighter/bombers in the hanger bay (like 4-6 or as many as will fit)

- Armed Marines stationed on every deck that salute when you walk by. YMIR mechs in the cargo bay. (Not gonna be boarded again without a fight.)

- Weapons locker in Shepard's cabin. Weapons displayed in Shepard's cabin like in living spaces of others.

- Customizable sidearm for Shepard (for all those "menace with a pistol" or "execute with a pistol" moments in game) and always worn in holster with casual clothing.

- Shooting range/training simulator. Includes various difficulties or scenarios and maybe a "n@zi zombies" style defend until death mini game.

- C.I.C. holo display capable of showing more than just normandy outline/status. Maybe include 3D space tactical map and 3D planet surface map views.

- "Probes" capable of carrying tactical nuclear warheads.

Maybe more, would have to think...

I'd really like a full-on Normandy modding system, where you basically have slots or bays in your ship and it's your choice what you put in there as you research, purchase and discover upgrades, but at the same time the gameplay would have to warrant it by having some form of space combat now and then.

Id love a fully normandy mod system! Id love a mantis gunship as well. I would like the logo on the hull to be something like this. They know I mean business then.

mechs and attack drones. A combat trained crew like the saluting guys in the SR1 or the one random dude watching legion before you activate them, thataways, boarding the ship and abducting the crew wouldnt be nearly as easy

Would add an automated internal weapons system for taking care of intruders. Can't believe that Cerberus missed that.

my guess is that they did that to protect the crew if EDI ever went HAL and started offing organics. thats not really an issue anymore though, so why not?

Definitely a training room and a gym of some sort. A jacuzzi would be primo.

The gym and training room should have some impact on your abilities and give you things to work for. As well as alternate settings for some conversations with your crew.

The jacuzzi well it is good for rehab and recreational useage. :D

I would just repaint it like the SR1 version. If that's all the customization i get in ME3, then im a happy man. Well....I guess I would have the Normandy music from ME1 as well. Had to hum it every time I was on the SR2, so it wasn't so quiet.

Turrets!  Lots and lots of turrets.  So many turrets it looks like the Normandy has acne.  Then you can fire in any direction.

A 'relax' room, bar, jacuzzi, nice ambient lighting (like a calm sort of club), and of course a big window to the stars. Maybe a small home theater set-up as well.

:D

i'm not very military minded, lol. more cannons wouldn't hurt either though. maybe a MAC/rail gun?

One gun facing forward and one gun facing back will be enough theoretically, as the Normandy is highly maneuverable, but not capable of flying backwards.

The backward facing cannons idea comes from the frustration I had watching ME2's opening scene (Collector surprise attack on SR1).

The Sukhoi Su-37 is capable of firing rockets backwards during dogfights to counter purusing fighters. The Normandy SR-2 should be able to do the same.
