When are you forced to do this?

Skadi - I haven't gotten past doing a second treaty quest on any of my non-HNF characters. I'll do one of the treaties, start to do a second treaty, go bleh. Then start a new HNF playthrough.

I know, it's silly.

Probably why my HNF has been the only character I could play through on, I was able to justify what she was doing from her perspective, but couldn't really with the other characters.

It was finding justifications for all my other characters that made playing them all the more fun. For my HN, the trip was a no-brainer. Kill Howe.

Going back there as a city elf female, whoa... talk about PTSD.  Then you get to go back to the alienage and see the blood-soaked orphanage.  Image IPB

My CEF was one tough broad.

Nah, it's not silly. I have a similar issue so I know what you mean.

its imposible to make dialog on all posible outcomes, there are times i wished i could do things difrent in the game, but some choices simply are premade. This is understandable in one fact, your a single warden who has the world around him falling to ruin, naturaly you are forced to do thing that are against the nature of your character, like giving up instead of fighting till the end.

Or fight the Archdemon. That's pretty out of character for most of my Wardens. I would have trusted Loghain to get it done and snuck away.

That might be why I haven't gotten past doing a second treaty on my CEF, the thought of going back to that Estate and the Alienage...

I find actually returning my characters to their past traumas one of the best parts of the game. The HN, other than Howe, you never really get that opportunity. There's nothing to return to. Which is why I can only really play it once.

I do, too.  Seeing Tamlen again... ack.  Image IPB  The city elf origin was almost too much for me, though.  I just felt so badly for that poor girl.  It didn't help that I roleplayed her falling for Nelaros.  She was a Zev girl, though, and I figure he kept her sane.

Huh. I always played my CE as stoics so the trauma wasn't as harrowing as it as a fact of life.

Yes you can totally double cross her. And if she sold you out in Howe's estate when you confront Cauthrien, you can consider it a payback. or, you can do it just to be a double crossing backstabbing bastard. :D

she didnt doublecross you... you announced she was with you! she was in disguise for a reason. She didnt want to show her cards to logain yet

It's a matter of perspective, that part. So , looking at it from one angle, she did.

nevermind. I'm sure i won't change anyone's mind.

If arguing from an absolute standpoint, no.

As I said, it's all a matter of perspective, how you see the whole scenario, and how you RP it. Sure, I know what Anora said, and what she didn;t want you to do. And from one angle, its perfectly legit.

But the whole scenario was pretty ambigious, left open to interpretation how one wishes to see it or view it. So, whether or not Anora betrays you is a matter of perspective.
