I just want to see Hawke come home from killing monsters, then get nagged at by Mom Hawke to pick up after themselves. Very grounding experience.

That would remind me way too much of Inuasha.Amagoi wrote...
I kind of hope Hawke lives with the family. I doubt a LI would move in though, just because they'd have their own place for most of the game anyway. But they said they want relationships to feel more organic and natural, so maybe?

"Clean your room! There's a bunch of filthy giant rats in there!"
That will, of course, be the first quest you get in Kirkwall.

The grocery store quest where you have to round around Kirkwall getting ingredients for dinner is my favorite. The battle for that pad of fresh butter was epic.

maybe you move "up" in the towns as you rise to power...so your final home is a manor in hightown and your first home is just a normal home in lowtown?
I think this is likely.
Or, I hope it's something like this.

That doesn't really rule out living with your mom and sibling(s), though. I remember that, but for all I know it also flat out said she had her own house altogether.
Still, I'd love a quest that made Hawke pick up her groceries and to make sure him/her wear ther coat, because it's cold out and she doesn't want them to catch a cold. <3 Then we'd have to kill even bigger monsters afterwards to make ourselves less embarrased in front of our companions.

Yeah, it said you visit your mother at her place. I suppose the previewer might have *meant* that you visit your mother at the house you share with her.

I hope our house levels up with us. We start in a crappy to moderately decent apartment and end up in a freakin' mansion.
Mansion? Hell with that I'm taking over the palace!

Varric: "Can Hawke come out to play?"
Momma Hawke appears at the door:
Momma Hawke: "No. Hawke cannot come out to play. That young lady needs to learn you just can't run around the house using blood magic on all the servants........Oh!! By the ****** of my ancestors!! If you're father was still alive he'd..........."
Hawke: "But it's fun.......and I'm the Champion of Kirkwall!"
Momma Hawke: "Not another word young lady! Now go back to your room and study your Spirit Healing spells like a proper Amell.........and maybe someday you can be like your cousin the Grey Warden......."
Hawke storms upstairs: "I'm not an Amell!! I'm a Hawke!! And this is my story!!"
Isabella to Varric: "Soooo..........this is the fabled champion of Kirkwall you've been gushing over??"
Varric: "She seemed much more mature and refined in the stories I read about her........"
Isabella: "Ah well........no sense fussing over it........let's go poke Fenris' magical tatoos and make em glow!!"
Varric: "Let's go!! Wait!! Can Carver come out to play, Mrs. Hawke?" (Varric unbuttons his vest to show his magnificent chest hair)
Momma Hawke (entranced): "Why of course my dears. CARVER!! You're friends are here!"
Carver rushes downstairs: "HERP!!"

Exactly. My insatiable appetite to customize and personalize cannot be sated. Bring me MORE!
