I don't recall which preview it was, but I recall mention of your mother's family's estate being your main destination when you get into kirkwallThe Gentle Ben wrote...
I believe it has been stated/suggested that your mother's family is/was Kirkwall Nobility, and that one objective within the game will be restoring this status. Therefore, I would suggest that a manor/mansion of some sort is conceivable with your family possibly in attendance. Also, at the very least I would expect your residence to be customizable to the extent of the ME2 Captain's Cabin, with trophies, findings and random aesthetic purchases.
living on an estate/manor would at least diffuse the shame of living with your mother and little brother/sister

We need fish.
NOOOOOOOOOO! I'm still depressed about all my fishes dying in ME2, MANY MANY times
over. I can't even eat fish anymore out of guilt:crying: now, if it was a miniature giant space hamster (preferably
called Boo)...

I was thinking that Hawke's house would go something along these lines, akin to the Normandy in ME2, or somewhat like in Assassin's Creed II were Ezio gets his family villa but its all in a bit of disarray and falling apart, so you have to spend monay on a restoring it to its former glory. The Gentle Ben wrote...

Will it be customizable? Will our Love Intrests be avaialable as roomates? Are we sharing it with our family? I feel like it's a REALLY cool feature that has gone unnoticed. Please post any additional questions or answers.
Possibly. Probably. No.
So, when we wake up in the morning, we run the chance of seeing Isabela's latest conquest crashed on the couch?
No...because if Isabela ever even thinking about touching someone else (unless she is putting on a show for my Hawke) while being in a relationship with me I'm gonna feed him/her to the hungry slaves of kirkwall after roasting
You can take the girl out of the Pearl and all that . . . .
But you can't take the Pearl out of the girl.

I just hope we do not have to "upgrade" it per plot like the SR2 or Vigil's Keep

I think I can speak for Isabela here in that if someone attempted to remove her pearl, they would sprout a few new orifices.

We could stock our item and have a log book of everything accomplish, like a journal or something
I can see it already.
Hawke: Salute, Bethany
Bethany: You here to look at the book?
And that will be all she says for 80% of the game.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for trophy rooms and pawing over past glories.

The love interest just better not mess with my bachelor pad that's all I can say. She'll probably want to 'redecorate'. That will cost me a fortune. "Move the Halla head over there dear....no wait, it might look better over the mantle!" Fluffy toilet seat covers....she'll want to throw out my 'Girls of Denerim' monthly.
I'm getting tense just thinking about it.
Yeah I can so see the darkspawn-murdering companions you find wondering...........
"Do these drapes really match the severed head?"
