Best option i think is the renegade reply, get tali acquitted and leave.

It's the punishment that makes me hesitate - ALL of Rael'Zorah's accomplishments will be stricken from the records of the Migrant Fleet. He won't be considered a man who just went too far, he'll become an unrepentant monster in the eyes of the quarians.
Every race have their own laws. Might be vehemont to others, but it's their law. What about those criminals who were caught and criminalized? Would it be fair for them someone else gets away with it legally?
Every race has their laws doesn't mean I have to follow them or respect them especially when I play as renegade.

I think that exposing Rael was renegade was because it was the simplest solution to your mission while not doing it would accomplishes gaining Tali's loyalty but gets her exiled, taking care of her on a personal level.Eber wrote...
There is an overriding principle to the morality system and it's that the paragon choice has the best outcome. Losing Tali's loyalty is bad so a paragon action can't have that outcome. This is why you get renegade points for acting honestly in this one case.
