Ahwell. I'm enjoying this playthrough no matter what anyway.
On the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest line and it's hooked me. So much so that I was late for work today because of it.. Oops..
On my second playthrough I may go Female Human Rogue. (Warrior or Mage is Tempting though but as I want her to be a Noble it's going to have to be Rogue or Warrior.) Mix it up a little bit. ;]

I truly enjoyed my HNF as a 2H matchup for Ser Cauthrien; seemed more fitting and gave me a long range goal.

Ser Cauthrien means nothing to me at this point in the game so I'm just going to smile and nod. =)
My Girlfriend goes back up to University on the 20th though so I should be able to fit in more Gameplay then.

She is considered by some - including myself - to be one of the tougher opponents met in the game.
And you have seen her from afar, as she is the officer that asked Loghain about saving the King, then jerked her arm away in protest just before withdrawing the troops under her command at Ostagar.

Ahh. Her! I remember. I get where you're coming from now. That would be an interesting fight. =)Elhanan wrote...

Duelest is more for a non-backstabing or even a tanking rogue. If you took Assassin your losing out on effectiveness by not backstabing.
Duelest/Ranger might actualy be a better setup for you on second thought.

Ooh. I'll be looking forward to that fight. Nothing like a challenge. There's only one enemy I've come across who I haven't eventually been able to overcome and that is the 'High Dragon'.. I got completely decimated.
@Last Darkness
I've taken the Assassin Spec as I reached 13/14/15 yesterday.
It's really good. Haha. Duelist was such a waste for my Build. But as I've said previously this is my first character and I'm bound to make more than a couple of mistakes so I'll just take them as they come. I'll just keep in mind all of this for the next time I make a Rogue. =)

You can download the raven respec mod if you wish to change your chosen specialities.

It can also depend on your group composition, If your prpared to take a second rogue either leliana or zevran then 1 of them can bring the song of courage buff, leaving you to go assassin duelist.

I'm using Leliana as an Archer (Bard/Ranger) at the moment for SoC. So I'm not too worried or disappointed. I'd love to respec my character but the only trouble is that I have the console version on Dragon Age: Origins. I'm planning on getting the Ultimate Edition for the PC though. =)

Now onto installing them Some of them are easier than others it depends what your after
http://www.dragonagenexus.com/
is the site to go to for all the mods and there are alot
fear of messing things up is always in peoples minds when they attempt things like this taking your time to read through the help and guides is key and backing up any files incase it goes wrong. If you do consider doing it i suggest trying 1 mod only and an easy 1 would be the raven respec mod, im sure that 1 can even be downloaded from this forum somewhere.

Yeah. I'd only use a couple of simple Mods. Perhaps more hairstyles for female characters etc. Just to liven up the experience a bit more. Including the Raven Respec one you spoke of. £18? Is that it? Haha. I may have to get that then. £10 cheaper than the console version. =)PlayingWithKnives wrote...
Aye once you have played through the game a few times properly its always nice to install a few mods and have a mess around. for me the respec mod was awsome, the ability to spec my party members how i wanted them especially my favourites added alot to the game for me.
