I burn you all using the power of the darkside!!!
Oh wait, okay scratch that hmm.......fear the apostate's power!!!
Now all i need is a very glowy sword, like starfang....Master Sith Apostate Mage here I come
EDIT: I wonder just how much of Emperor Palpatine's power was an inspiration for cone of lightning
Now all I need is a black robe, maybe tevinter robe, and a black hood to match...remove the facial and normal hair on Hawke and make him pale as a ghost = new palpatine

I would normally do rogue, but due to the circumstances of DA2 it will be mage first. Between Fenris's history with mage and Sebastian's history with the chantry, it's rather too tasty to pass up.
Plus, the Destiny trailer looked pretty freaking badass with a mage. Hard to resist by itself.

A Mage. I love what Bioware has done with Mages in this game.
In most other games you have Mages running around among the general population and everybody just seems to be fine with it. This kind of behavior strikes me as extremely strange. Like everybody is ignoring the Elephant in the living room.

Female mage! For the apostate life style. Most people seem to hate Carver and I feel sorry for the guy
Plus, my main warden's a Human warrior and rogues are only good for opening chests in my eyes

Totally going rogue for first play through. I'll try warrior and mage after, but will not be looking forward to it as much. In DA:O, I enjoyed rogues way more. Constantly moving, quicker strikes. It seems like in DA:2 they're making this even more so.

A couple days ago I would have said mage in a heartbeat. Now with the whole Bethany/Carver thing I'm a little less certain, might be leaning towards the rogue

Toss up between either a mage or a rogue. It depends upon how hyped I get from the updated class information that might be released at a later date.

Male mage, it's really seems like we're slowly being nudged in that direction what with the trailer, promotional items, and possible distant backstory with the mage warden.

Rogue, because, if Bioware's design trends hold true, as the most underpowered class in Dragon Age Origins, they'll be the most overpowered class in Dragon Age 2. Mages, on the other hand, my favorite class of Dragon Age Origins, will in all likelihood be nerfed to the ground in this game.

rogue, because like what I mentioned in another similar thread, I like the guerrilla fighting tactics a rogue represents to me, plus I just love to loot stuff

After watching the gameplay videos, I may start as a warrior... They've sped up the attack speed for warriors. I'll try them both when the demo comes out Tuesday and make my decision from there.
