I just fighted against Davik and got on the Ebon Hawk.

But there is no possibility to win against the fighter ships ... So here my game ends.
Tried 5+ times (takes long, you have to fight Davik again, always)

Any cheat to come over this?

What difficulty level are you playing at? I found that particular minigame to be pretty easy.

You should be able to take out one or two in the beginning when they fly towards you in a cluster. Afterwards just familiarize yourself with their flying patterns. You'll need it later anyways, as you will be encountering these guys frequently.

I never had a problem destroying them on XBOX. I've had that game for years, but after downloading it from Steam, I noticed that the fighter battle seemed much more difficult. Not sure if the PC version is harder by default or if it was simply my slow reaction time being used to the controller.

This was discussed in Ye Olde BioBoards, and it appears that the fighters are more difficult on PC.

Really? I went through a number of playthroughs on PC and I don't believe I died once from the fighters... huh.

I didn't imply the battles were very difficult even on PC - but it appears it is nigh impossible to get oneself killed on exbox.

If you start firing from the center to the right, raising your pointer a little as you go as soon as the fight starts you'll probably get most of them. If you're really lucky you'll get all of them. Then pick of the rest, start with the ones moving towards the ship to minimise damage. May the force be with you

I only ever died to those fighters twice. The first time, I wasn't paying attention and had no idea what happened. The second time, I broke my mouse and couldn't move. After that, I learned how to shoot properly.

omg I hated that part on PC, I mean I was a kid when I first played and it was near impossible, I've been playin again cause well....why shouldn't I. Yea its still tough without a mouse, I normally just use my laptops touch pad but yea that just makes it impossible. you absolutely have to watch the radar and use the sound queues to take them down. even then its really difficult on anything above the easiest of difficulties when you don't have a controller or a mouse to work with

try turning down your diffculty setting

also  when firing on those ships aim just infront of them when there flying out further away   you will more likely hit them

Try cranking up the mouse sensitivity in the options menu.
