They had the ability to reform themselves, too.

You know, guys, just because it brings storm atronaches to mind, it has to be a strom atronach rip-off.
Personally I don't care if it's a X rip-off from the game Y. Genlocks resembled orcs like I resembled my own image in the mirror, but I didn't care then, either.
Whew...one less vampire in the world, now to check five billion more.

You aren't too late for catching up with Santa Claus and borrowing a few tips and tricks from him. I hear he's quite good at that sort of thing!Ryllen Laerth Kriel wrote...
Well I only can get around so quickly to check people and everyone keeps having babies so it's tough hunting vampires.

Santa as a singular individual is a myth. It is actually the combined efforts of the Illuminati, NWO, and Masons that make all the deliveries.
Why you might ask? Well I dunno they are secret clubs.

Whoa. I call hogwash. We all know Santa does the delivery all by himself and the Illuminati holds the flashlight during Santa's descent, NWO holds the bag while he's trying to cram in, and Masons repair all those chimneys Santa breaks with his lard arse.addiction21 wrote...

Don't forget to infuse their skin with lyrium, too.Ryllen Laerth Kriel wrote...
Well, by virtue of replying to your posts on this forum, I already have supplied more validation of my existence than Santa Claus. Now I just need to enslave a bunch of elves to help me hunt vampires from my secret base at the North Pole!

Hmm, maybe the direct method is better.
Anyway....how about those rock wraiths?

Sweet design. Reminds me of the storm atronach from Oblivion.Dwarven legends tell of dwarves so corrupt that even the Stone rejects them. Doomed to wander the deep roads in an undying half-life, these creatures are known as Rock Wraiths, and they are creatures of hunger, wrath and little more. While it's commonly held that Rock Wraiths are myths, every so often a survivor, often half mad, staggers from the deep roads whispering of living rock assembling itself into a twisted shape shifting parody of a humanoid creature, and of baleful eyes glowing in the dark.
Concept art showing different variations of the Rock Wraith. These ones looks to be human sized. The Rock Wraith with the red glowing skeleton could possibly be a boss.

The skull gives it a face that we can identify with. A giant faceless stone monster that can hide in the walls of an underground labyrinth is a lot more intimidating then
