I am just wondering, does anybody who right now laughs at the OP have to present a valid piece of evidence that renders OP's theory wrong? How do you know that 'Reapers' are not AI flagships controlled by the geth?



I am not saying that I agree with his theory, all I am saying that not being so smart in the ass (yes, you see what I did there) all the time would do you some good, I think.

In the beacons, we see the destruction of the Protheans, who died 50,000 years ago. If the Reapers are not real and they did not destroy the Protheans, who did? The geth? They did not exist 50,000 years ago. Furthermore, if it was the geth behind it all along, how and why did they control Saren and get him to feed Shepard these Reaper delusions? Why would they program Vigil to endorse them? How can they indoctrinate organic beings? Why do the geth want to open the Citadel relay, the existence of which they could not have known about, the activation of which they had no reason to desire?

If Sovereign was a Geth ship then why is there a 37 million year old "Geth ship" orbiting Mnemosyne, when the Geth were only created by the Quarians 300 years ago?

Since when did the organic protheans suddenly have a massive machine faction? That went unchecked for the eons it took to design such a thing?

building up of armies takes time, while a split in faction can occur quckly.

Well, you see no one has to.  It's up to the OP to provide some evidence that they are right, not just continually introduce ad-hoc, unfalsifiable handwaves to explain away all the glaring problems.

Well, farts and fish sticks. Now I am disqualified from what seemed a nice sporting challenge, preventing me from pointing out that the geth could not possibly have planted the beacons as they were both older than the geth and only compatible with organics.

i never said the geth planted the beacon. I said the beacons showed the war between the prothean factions. The geth are new to the picture.

1st. As i said in a earlier post which im guessing you havent read,  the cyucle repeats itself each civilzation building off the previous technology. Each civilization destroys itself once it reachs a specific point in its devolpment, that point being when they devolp the ability to create new mass relays. The 36MYA reaper found in the brown dwarf was from a previous civilations conflict

2nd nothin sovereign said can be trusted as he or it was being controlled by the geth

I didn't know we had to laugh at you to qualify for topic participation, I don't think that's a very good discussion requirement and I'm hoping you could redraft the thread constitution to favor a more democratic process with equal representation and separation of chuckle and state.

I have a question for your theory. In your scenario, did the geth mastermind all of this? Why did Saren agree to go along with it all and feed you false information about Reapers?

See this is why it works better as a dream state that I commented on in the previous page, because it means Saren built Sovereign. He created the image of Sovereign and the concept of Reapers and incepted it into the 'Prothean' Beacon so the next person to initiate it would see all this when they entered the 'dream state'. His whole plan is to divert attention from him and his group to this other persons delusional outbreak when they get the 'kick' that he'll be able to amass his true geth forces that he, Benezia, Xen and saleon have been working on, to destroy the Citadel and become ruler of the Galaxy. Only Shep will realise what needs to be done and save everyone.

wait wait wait wait.... hold on... so your telling me that every race that reachs it peak bulid "reapers" or "w.o.m.d" and wipe them self out. then a new race comes and bulid of the ruins of the old race just to wipe them self out again.. thats what your saying right?? IF thats what your saying. that would mean that every race would have to be blood thirsty as the krogan & yahg. but then the question comes up why didnt they wipe them self out when they discorved nuclear power like the krogan almost did???
