Hi folks!

I recently purchased NWN2, but seem to have a crashing problem.  I've been unable to make it through the tutorial (the four events).  While running around, one of three things will happen:

1) The screen will go black, but music and sound continue like normal.  The screen will come back, and for a split second, my camera is hovering far above the area, pointing down.

2) The screen goes black, music and sound continue like normal, then the game returns without the odd camera zoom.

3) The screen goes black, music and sound stop, and then I crash to the desktop.

I use Windows 7 64-Bit.  I've also browsed around for the last few days, and the only thing I can think of that's wrong is DirectX (I've messed around with the graphics settings and nothing changes whether they're set to max or minimum).  I have 11, but according to posts here, I will need 9.0c.  A few questions, however, just to be sure:

1) Will 9.0c co-exist with 11 without overwriting it?

2) What's the specific microsoft website link for 9.0c, or is there one?

If the problem continues, could you post (or link) the nwn2_errorlog file found in your game installation directory?



Depending on your OS config, you might need to click 'Show compatibility files' to see it.
