So guys how many origin stories have you got that you are happy to import to DA2? I myself am going through a third playthrough. Care to share any characters your particularly proud of? Here are my characters to break the ice.

Anyway my first and main character who will be imported was a Dwarf Noble, he got the sacrifice alistair and leave anora in charge ending. Also went through Awakening, golems and witch hunt letting morrigan leave into the mirror after saying goodbye. In the end he saved the circle, put Harrowmont in charge of orzammar and turned the werewolves back into people then allied with the Dalish. He was also declaired a paragon and returned to orzammar with Gorim until Awakening happened :P - He's sort of my scout ahead and enjoy the ride character

My Second character was a mage and made much the same decisions, except she put alistair in charge and sacrificed herself to stop the blight. I stopped here because it wouldn't be right to play awakening etc as her. - tbh I may not import her, she pretty much played identically to my dwarf except that alistair declared a new circle in her name.

My current character is a human noble whom I have made a templar, she is also the first character I can genuinley roleplay as I have enough knowledge of the world. She considers herself a good person and is a firm believer in the chantry. But she does have their dislike for mages as a result and has to make alot of hard choices throughout the game. Such as agreeing to annul the circle and killing connor at redcliffe. She is a strong person though and very dutiful. Ironically I'm planning the dark ritual ending for her calling it out of desperation, (but mostly because I want to be queen beside Alistair lol) and then "fixing" it by hunting down morrigan later in witch hunt to try and hide her shameful decision.

Anyone got any stories they like to share?

---

On a side while I am at it I know it doesn't belong here but still, are there any more plans to patch the first game? Or can we consider future support closed? I was just asking because one of my epilogues got bugged and gave me the wrong info lol :P I don't mind either way tbh but I know there are a few bugs that could use a good squish.

Do not expect any further support. Awakening still has the critical Silverite mines bugs that Bioware is unwilling to fix.

I actually just started a new gamertag on my 360 due to several issues that I had with my old account. Namely being unable to receive any e-mails on the account  that I had activated it with because the e-mail CTE'd.

So now I'm slogging my way back through my female elf warrior campaign (City Origin).

I'm planning to use my Amell for the first import. Roland. Based off a combination of me, Batman, Dr. Cox from Scrubs and Leonard Church from Red Vs Blue.

He's a grade-A douchebag with a terrible case of CHS (chronic hero syndrome) and the hots for Morrigan. Defends Redcliffe, saves Connor and Isolde, saves the mages (duh!), breaks the werewolf curse, destroys the Anvil and puts Harrowmont on the throne (I really wish Bioware had given players a clear way to understand what each king was going to do). He's basically a knight in shining armor with a giant sociopathic streak. Ends up with Alistair + Anora on the throne, Loghain sacrificed, the Architect dead, Amaranthine + Keep saved.

Haven't gone through WH yet, so I don't know what he'll do with the mirror.

Your second that you're going to finish just in time through a combination of very late nights and an awesome stretch of three day grind without sleep because you had a sudden burning desire to import something totally different? :o

The human mage that is my avatar. Shagged Morrigan because shagging witches is generally a good idea, especially if the bonus is reincarnating an Old God. Sacrificed Isolde to enter the Fade, then traded Connor's soul for the power of blood magic. Broke the curse on the elves, put Belen on the dwarven throne and granted him access to the golem forge, attempted to liberate the circle tower from the templars although it doesn't appear to have had any real effect, and...blah blah blah, does anyone really read these things or are they just for indulgently talking about oneself as if any of it matters to anyone else?

My first import will be my main character, a male human noble. He's a good man, and does whatever is necessary to save people, and to do the right thing. He saves the circle, breakes the werewolf's curse, saves connor, destroys the anvil, kills the slave tevinter mage. Howewer he believes that whoever he chooses for the throne (Bhelen or Harrowmont) will cause problems, and even a dwarven civil war, so he chooses Bhene for his ideas (he hates a lot the whole castleless and alienage system). On the other and, he can't forgive Howe and Loghain for what they've done to his family, so he decises to kill both of them; then he puts Anora and Alistair on the throne, and does the DR with Morrigan (he was curious to see what will become of Urthemiel without the taint).
In DAA he decides to spare the Architect, because he believes he could lead to a peace between darkspawn and other species (even if he isn't sure about that when the mother reveal his implication in the rise of the Blight). He forms a good group of Wardens, making Oghren, Sigrun, Nate and Anders the group that would take the Grey to thei former glory in Ferelden.
His only weak is the women, he actually never choose between Morrigan and Leliana B)

Edgar Cousland, youngest of the cousland brothers and secretly the bastard child of Howe (I like to think his mother and Howe had an affair, screw you Gaider I reject your story and substitute my own) Edgar was a self serving **** who abandoned Redcliffe before the battle, had the Templars cleanse the Circle, killed Connor (mostly because he enjoys sticking his knife into the soft flesh of children, even if he had saved the mages he would have killed Connor anyway), helped the werewolves slaughter the elves, killed Caradin and helped Branka claim the anvil, supported Anora in the Landsmeet in exchange for the title of Prince consort, let Alistair be executed after the landsmeet and performed the Dark Ritual.

Well, I'll probably import one of those two first....

1. Human Noble (Male) Sided with the dalish and saved the werewolves (Lanaya in charge) / annulled the circle / made Harrowmont Orzammar's king and destroyed the anvil / Isolde killed Connor herself after she found how much pain he was going through / put Alistair(un-hardened) on the throne / decided to travel with Leliana after epilgoue.

2. Dalish Elf (Female) Sided with the dalish and killed all the werewolves (Zathrian still the keeper) / saved the circle / Made Behlen king and preserved the anvil (out of need to fight the spawn) / saved both Isolde and Connor / Alistair (hardened) married Anora and both rule Ferelden / Returned to the clan after epilogue.

I'm not sure if I should consider going into some sort of purfication ritual or not. Feh, why bother, I'll just be corrupted again as soon as I get done. Anyways!

Circle of Magi here I come. :crying:

I've got 4 completed playthroughs, an orlesian warden and I honestly don't know who I should pick up.

I guess default what-would-Duncan-do warden (the one on the left here) for default Hawke, warden-templar-commander-queen of Ferelden for a free spirited mage Hawke (to have as different as possible personalities between Hawke and the Warden), and the goody-2-shoes elf circle mage warden for a ruthless intolerant warrior Hawke.

But then I'm also tempted to try ruthless Hawke first and I didn't go very far into Awakening with anyone but the Orlesian warden and templar-queen... gah. I guess I'll just randomly pick one. <_<

EDIT: if we can actually import a DAO warden AND an a different Awakening character, I might try to patch together any DAO endgame save that didn't go all the waythrough Awakening (though none of them end in ultimate sacrifice) with the cunningly brutal / brutally cunning Orlesian warden's save.

On my first playthrough, I am importing Sergon Mahariel, a Dalish elf rogue. He saw his role as Grey Warden as something very important, mainly because he wanted to make his clan proud and because he valued life above all else. He only killed people in some form of self-defense, generaly avoiding trouble, while firmly protecting his own (The land, the Elves, his party..etc). In addition, he was a calm and kind person respecting the laws and traditions of the lands he ventured in, even when they seemed so alien. He didn't annul the circle, saved both Connor and Isolde, preserved the Urn and killed the dragon, slayed the werewolves, crowned Harrowmont king while afterwards destroying the anvil. In the end he made his good friend Alistair king, recognizing his love for what is just, turned down Morrigan's offer and sacrificed himself so that Alistair could help rebuild Ferelden. ( Note 1 : In case you are curious, he didn't romance anyone. Neither Leliana nor Morrigan were women whom I thought he could fell in love with. Note 2 : He is very (VERY) loosely based on Drizzt from Salvatore's books.)
For my second one, I will be importing Aedan Cousland (Yeah, I know, not so inventive :P). He is a cruel, violent, rascist pragmatist who isn't very keen on mages and generaly aspires order. To him, Darskpawn are a serious threat, but the true root of all evil is human stupidity and tolerance of failure. All these ideas led him to buthcer the mages(Wynne included), murder Connor and Jowan, secure the Urn and eliminate the dragon, side with the werewolves (In order to remove the Dalish as a threat and kill them off after the blight) put Bhelen in charge, preserve the anvil, romance hardened Leliana, perform the ritual and rule jointly with Anora. In Awakening, he stayed at the keep and made a truce with the Architect. (While playing him I felt like a monster....I am never going to roleplay such a bastard again!!!)

The only playthrough I've completed so far is one. I'm hoping to save 2 more done by the time I have the opportunity to play DA II

"Savarion Cousland" - Human Noble Warrior

Romance: Morrigan

Sten was left to die in his cage. Leliana, Wynne, Oghren and Shale were recruited. Zevran was spared but later slain for treachery.

Circle Tower: The mages were spared.

Redcliffe: Connor and Isolde were saved. Mayor Murdock perished in the battle to save Redcliffe.

Brecilian Forest: The werewolves were cured.

Orzammar: Lord Harrowmont was crowned king. The Anvil of the Void was destroyed. Dagna went to the Circle Tower and a Chantry was opened in Orzammar.

The Urn of Sacred Ashes was found and not despoiled, but the Chantry could not verify Brother Genetivi's claims because of the high dragon.

Landsmeet: Cauthrien and Loghain were slain. Alistair was crowned king.

Final Battle: The Warden completed Dark Ritual with Morrigan.

I haven't completed any other content yet, but the epilogue said that the Warden became a fixture in the Ferelden Court.
