My first character was a dual wielding female Dalish rogue/ranger/duellist. She was fairly neutral in everything, wasn't particularly good or evil, though quite chaotic and emotional. Sacrificed Isolde to get into the Fade (I really thought Redcliffe would be DESTROYED!!1 if you left it in that run), killed the desire demon that was possessing Connor. Lifted the werewolf curse and saved them and the elves, put Harrowmont on the throne in Orzammar, destroyed the anvil, saved the mages in the Tower. Romanced Leliana and Alistair, ended up with the latter(the rose was too much for me to bear). She went on to kill Loghain and left Howe to rot in that dungeon, but got shafted by Alistair when she encouraged him to take the throne and shaft Anora. He said that would be the end of their relationship- her being a dirty elf and all- so she told him to shove it and went quite cold on him for the remainder of the game, despite having a maxed persuasion skill. Let Alistair do the DR with Morrigan, and went off for wonderful, sexy adventures with Leliana in the epilogue.

I can't remember much of what I did with her in Awakenings, other than sparing the Architect and destroying the Broodmother. Defended Amaranthine... barely.

My current run is a human male mage/Arcane Warrior. Neutral good sort of character- moralist but not terribly so, he'd rather see good be done for goods sake rather than for laws and so on. He's not really chaotic, though. He helped Jowan out in the prologue and spared him in Redcliffe- sided with the mages in the circle and used them for the ritual to get into the Fade. Managed to guilt Edwin into going in (after trying with Jowan but I couldn't beat the last incarnation of the demon). Doing the Urn quest right now, in the middle of being all romancey with Morrigan, but already slept with Zevran. Got a little sappy with Zev but he got shot down, haha. I'll pursue both romances for as long as possible until they make me choose :D

I hope to finish the Urn quest tonight. Chances are, I'll import the choices I made from the first game, since she's closer to my heart (rogues <3). I think I'll go with Alistair and Anora ruling in this one, but I'm not 100% sure of the choices I'll make at this stage.

I'd like to do yet another run, probably with a nasty dwarf, but I'm not sure if I'll get time before DA2 comes out. I'm terrible at playing the totally out-for-themselves types anyway, what started off as a Renegade Shep character in ME1 ended up at about 60% renegade, 30% paragon :<

I just started up a character like that, a dwarf commoner who is rude and nasty just for the sake of it really. Although I'm not really gonna play him properly for a while, at least until my current human noble playthrough is over with.

My primary toon is an Elf-mage named Belinor, who's going to be my first import. He's basically Morrigan's brother from another mother; in fact, most Thedas scholars reached the consensus he was initially the offspring of an apostate and Alec Baldwin, after he sold his soul to a hunger demon. But I digress. Belinor has a gray morality. Though he flirted with 'evil', he's essentially an unforgiving pragmatist with an inherent desire to mold himself into a 'perfect mage'. His interests lay primarily in the Blood-school--a rebelliousness that was fostered by his time in The Circle, and further tempered by the religious embargoes placed on Blood Magic by his senior enchanters. Lamely put, he wanted to be a Blood Mage just because it seemed like a cool idea. When he met Morrigan, she fueled his desire for 'magical perfection' with her skewed philosophies regarding power and the like. Naturally the two were attracted to one another, like drug-dealers are to Lindsey Lohan. Thus most of the game was spent killing irritating NPCs and dipping hands in pools that shouldn't be touched. You know, essentially just entertained Morrigan. Sided with Bhelen and preserved the Anvil. In the Brecilian, I allowed the Werewolves humanity. Spared the mages in hope that, one day, the younger mages followed in Belinor's footsteps and overthrew the Templars, after they saw they were capable of power-levels over nine-thousand. Killed Isolde and entered The Fade, then let the demon go in exchange for Blood Magic. Told Genitivi he was a moron for wanting to spread news of the Urn; but let him to do it anyway, because I wanted the fanatical Andrastians to in-fight about it, maybe kill each other off. At the Landsmeet, told Cauthrien she and Loghain sucked and walked by her. Killed Loghain, made Alistair king, and then imprisoned Anora (hopefully to be later executed) in the tower. Knocked nethers with Morrigan in The Ritual. Went on to kill the Archdemon and steal all the glory from Alistair. Became the next Teyrn of Gwaren (wealth and riches boon), because I hated the Circle and figured, if they cared enough to break away, they would. Wanted that money for Avernuus-type research. Played through Awakening, acted like a semi-tyrant, saved Amaranthine, and killed both the Architect and Mother because I distrusted them both. Then I chased Morrigan's trail. Finally met up with Morrigan in Witch Hunt and followed her through the Elluvian to 'face the future together'. I still don't like the way she said that line. It was too dark, ominous, like she planned to eat me or something.

As for my other file, the second import, he's a Dalish Rogue named Nelinael; and he's the polar opposite of Belinor. He's an idiot, to put it bluntly. Terrible at reading people, awkward in conversation, and unforgivingly oblivious. Idealistic to the point his entire head is this polychromatic utopia. Like he's in some perpetual dope-trip. Of course he was drawn to Leliana almost immediately; and the two, being both airheads, were conjoined at the hip. Throughout the game, Nel's a happy-go-lucky guy who helped folks whenever they needed it, and happily opened himself up to the humans. But as he saw the injustices done to Elves in the Alienage, or other Shemlen cities, he started to feel resentment toward them. With Nel, I elected Harrowmont and destroyed the Anvil of the Void. Broke the Werewolves curse. Spared the mages again. Forced my BFF Morrigan to save Connor via the lyrium ritual. Warned Gentivi about spreading the Urn, but told him I wouldn't stop him. Convinced Cauthrien that Loghain wasn't the same man he used to be and passed. Killed Loghain as Alistair's 'champion'. Had Alistair and Anora rule jointly. Made Alistair bump-it with Morrigan, because I didn't want to let Leliana down. Chose the Hinterlands deal for the Dalish as my boon. In Awakening, played a fair 'ruler' and spared the Architect and saved Amaranthine. And in Witch Hunt, told Morrigan 'I'll miss you, buddy", and allowed her to go through the Elluvian.

Wow.

Tl;DR. My bad, folks.

Can all the decisions you made be found back in your journal? My memory of what I did on my Mage is a bit foggy when it comes to the decisions I made in the Brecillian Forest and the Frostback Mountains.

First import: Human Mage, Daylen Amell. I normally wouldn't pick the standard name, but I really liked the name Daylen.

Image IPB
He really wasn't sure about the whole Harrowing thing, but hey! A mage's gotta do what a mage's gotta do.

Romance: Romanced Morrigan, Zevran, Leliana and Morrigan again. In that order. It went so well for a while, till they started talking amongst each other and began complaining about the fact that I was ho'ing myself around. What, I grew up in the Circle tower, I had no idea that things weren't supposed to go that way. And who could blame me after spending my entire life all celibate in that stupid tower. A boy has his needs, yo.

Lothering: Saved Sten, and recruited Leliana near the Imperial Highway after turning her down the first time. Alistair's remarks just crushed any reluctance I had.

Image IPB
Here's the party, staring incredously at Leliana as she speaks of the Maker. We didn't take her along immediately, but I caved before leaving Lothering.

Image IPB
Sten was quite happy to be let out of the cage. He then proceeded to question my competence at every turn.

Crows ambush: Zevran saved

Circle of Magi: Saved tower, Irving & Wynne lived

Image IPB
Daylen and Wynne traded robes because hers just... well, they were better than Daylen's. Much trauma followed because of Wynne's exposure.

Brecilian Forest: Smacked Zathrian into agreeing to break the curse.

Image IPB
Happier times, before we realized that Zathrian was an information-witholding bastard.

Image IPB
Somehow the Lady of the Forest made an excellent case for herself just by... well, being there.

Image IPB
And everyone was all human and happy again. Can't quite recall if anyone was gutted afterwards because someone didn't like the shield. >.>

Orzammer/Deep Roads: Destroyed the Anvil, plkaced Behlen on the throne because Harrowmont's more traditionalist views on Dwarven politics/society is exactly what's tearing Orzammar apart and keeps it from progressing.

Image IPB
A random shot of the Warden's group entering Jarvia's hideout. This is mostly because the game didn't want to take a lot of screenshots in Orzammar.

Image IPB
A vague shot of Branka. The game didn't like taking pictures of the Deep Roads much either.

Redcliffe: I'd already saved the Circle of Mages before I went here, and thus took the risk of going back to the Tower in search of aid. I knew that there would be the risk of the attacks resuming (well, meta-gaming me knew there wasn't), but after taking care of the majority of the undead, I was willing to take the risk. Killing a child or letting Jowan perform a Blood Mage ritual (considering Blood Magic is what got us in trouble before) was no option. Ididn't kill the Desire Demon but instead intimidated her into rewarding me in several different ways before driving her off.

Image IPB
I bet Bann Teagen was very impressed by the man boobs.

Image IPB

Random Desire cameo!

Image IPB
Mages make everything a happier occasion. Especially demonic posessions.

Urn of Scared Ashes: I saved the Urn of Sacred Ashes, after pretending to side with Kolgrim. Killed Kolgrim and the High Dragon. Killed Brother Genitivi when he wanted to go public. As a mage, leaving an item that could give the Chantry even more power is just... no.

Image IPB
Don't ask me why they took an automatic screenshot there. As a sidenote: wtb better DAII underwear.

Image IPB
Such a PRETTY urn!

Image IPB
Oh, someone was not happy that the ashes were defiled. Probably even less so about the getting killed part.

Korcari Wilds: 'Killed' Flemeth

Landsmeet: Executed Loghain, convinced a hardened Alistair and Anora to take the throne together, snickered when she slapped his hand away when he tried to take hers.

Image IPB
Really, two grown men are having a discussion here. Nobles always need to get involved, le sigh.

Image IPB
Anora had best close her eeeeyes.

Final Battle: I performed the Dark Ritual with Morrigan. It's not like I hadn't slept with her before, might as well go for a repeat performance to save myself and my fellow Grey Warden/close friend Alistair.

Image IPB
Daylen's all "Hey there, what are you doing in my room so late?"

Image IPB
Morrigan, you're so predictable!

Boon: Circle freedom from the Templars

Vigil's Keep: Fully upgraded, still mostly destroyed (I think that happens regardless of what you do), but my remaining companions and the soldiers held off the Darkspawn pretty damn well.

Image IPB
Random fade shot, because Awakenings didn't come with a whole lot of auto-shots.

City of Amaranthine: Saved, had the Disciple killed.

Image IPB
Killed that one too, she was snooty.

Dragon Bone Wastes: Killed the Architect

Image IPB
And of course she didn't fare any better. Stupid... ugly thing with too many teets.

Witch Hunt/Ending: Followed Morrigan into the mirror to be with her and my son. All the while imagining just how much the companions I left behind cursed me for that decision, given that neither of them really gained anything from it, and I didn't even bother asking about the Elf's book. >.>

I finished my "DA 2 charakter" two days ago. It was my 5th Origins and 4th Awakening playthrough. She is named Mara Cousland and is a twohander-warrior. After so many playthroughs and 100% achievements done, I knew every quest and the way to complete the game without a miss of anything.
Her character attributes are: discipline, strength, Ferelden and the Order stand over her personal wishes, mostly friendly.
What she did:
- Saved the elves, cured the werewolves.
- Saved the mages and the tower.
- Defended Redcliffe without a dead guard.
- Bella runs the tavern.
- Saved Connor and Isolde.
- Killed the high dragon, not defiled the ashes.
- Helped Harrowmont.
- Destroyed the anvil.
- "Killed" Flemeth.
- Spared Ser Cauthrien two times.
- Saved the alienage two times.
- Let Alistair kill Logain.
- Crowned Alistair.
- Let Alistair do the DR.
- Defended Amaranthine.
- Spared the architect.
- Let Morrigan walk through the eluvian.
Every companion, except Logain, was on 100% approval and each personal quest done. Every companion survived in Awakening.
She was coupled with Alistair, but because he needed a heir and that would be a nearly impossible thing with two wardens, she let her love go to give Ferelden a future with the Theirin bloodline.
Her boon was the one with the wardens, for sure.
She would be known as a invincible leader with iron discipline for her duties, who helped everyone, who got in their position through no fault of their own. But her enemies had to realise, that she is merciless.

Here are two pics of her in my favourite armor:

Don't know how to make them viable in here. :(

Kale Amell. Yes I named my character after a vegetable. What about it? It's also an awesome German name.
Blood Mage/Spirit Healer. I like the Yin and Yang thing.
Got all companions.
Circle of Magi: Saved the tower, Iriving and Wynne still being old
Brecilian Forest: Broke the Werewolf curse
Orzammer: Destroyed the Anvil, plopped Behlen on the thrown.
Redcliffe: Killed Isolde using bloodmagic with bloodmage bro Jowan. (the third option doesn't exist in my world) Convinced the demon to leave with words.
Urn of Scared Ashes: Saved, Genitivi also saved, killed Kolgrim and killed the High Dragon, it was glorious.
Flemeth Status Presumed dead. If not, not my problem I bet some commoner from Lothering will deal with it. Possibly a cousin.
Landsmeet: Kacked Loghain. Put Alistair on the thrown.
Final Battle: Did the Dark Ritual with Morrigan
Boon: Circle freedom from the Templars, though it didn't seem to have much of an effect.
Vigil's Keep: Fully upgraded
City of Amaranthine: Saved
Dragon Bone Wastes: Let the Architect live.
Witch Hunt: **** if I'm going through a weird mirror.

My first import to DA2:

Solarin Amell
Blood Mage.
Took all companions, exept Loghain.
Circle of Magi: Saved the tower, Iriving survived.
Brecilian Forest: Killed the werewoves. She doubted it could end peacfully, so she decided to side with Zathrian.
Orzammar: Put Behlen on the thrown because he promised her troops. Spared the anvil because she though it would help them.
Redcliffe: Saved Isolde and Connor with the help of the Circle. Learned blood magic by selling Connor's soul to the demon.
Urn of Scared Ashes: Saved, Genitivi alive, killed Kolgrim. Left the dragon alone.
Flemeth is alive.
Landsmeet: Anora rules alone, because Solarin romanced Alistair who didn't want to be king. Let Alistair kill Loghain.
Final Battle: Didn't allow Morrigan to sleep with "her" Alistair, left him at the gates and died by killing the Archdemon.
Boon: Anora told Gregoir that the mages were going to going to watch over themselves once a new tower was built.
No import into Awakening, she's dead as dead can be.

I've finished all six origins (although only four are ready for import), but what I consider my main is:

F!Amell, Elias (hence my username):

The long and short of it:

* Fought to save Redcliffe
* Recruited all party members
* Saved both Connor and Isolde
* Saved the Tower and the mages (of course!)
* Preserved the Urn of Sacred Ashes but didn't bother to kill the high dragon guarding it (oops!)
* Put Harrowmont on the throne (though she supported Behlen until the final choice. Oh! Snap!)
* Destroyed the Anvil of the Void
* Cured the werewolves
* Left Flemeth well enough alone
* Romanced Alistair
* Allowed said romance to kill Loghain.
* Made Anora queen
* Made Alistair participate in the Dark Ritual
* Asked for more freedom for the mages as a boon
* Recruited all Awakening characters
* Refused to hand Anders over to templars
* Got attacked by nobles and lit Bann Esmerelle of fire.
* Defused the rioters
* Saved the City of Amaranthine
* Sided with the Archetect (mostly)
* Apparently, created lots of Orders of Knights.
* Aided the Blight orphans and all that hilarious fallout.
* Lost Valenna, Sigrun, and Justice when the Vigil fell.
* Allowed Morrigan to go through the mirror.
* Completed all DLC content.

/end wall o' text.

've at 6 or 7 playthroughs but i'm going talk about my best playthough
No 1 is Relik an Elivish Arcane warrior who's is pretty much anti chantry and I have to admit the most Bad arse character I have ever made  (well apart from  Lian Shepard Relik didn't destoy an entire specise or wipe out most of a human colony but he's almost there)
He saved the circle, helped his friend  a blood mage escape twice put  Bhalen on the throne of Orzzamar   romanced Morrigan  and  is the father of her god child Taught Alister how not be a whiny git and be a king and called for independent Circle of Magi which can only help the chaos in the sequel

Also out of all my characters he finished the Archdemon off in no time at all  it is insane how powerful this guy is

He was seen last entering the mirror with Morrigan

Note: I tried doing the opposite that I'd do in real life (for the most part), don't really know why.

Origin: City Elf

class: Warrior

Romance: Morrigan

Brecilian Forest: Assualted Elven camp with werewolves

Orzammar/Deep Roads: Anvil destryoed and Harrowmont was made king,

Circle Tower: Killed Mahes

Redcliffe: Killed Connor to save Isolde.

Urn of Sacred Ashes: Defiled ashes and then betrayed Kolgirm. Genitivi is dead.

Landsmeet: Alistair king, Loghain killed.

Ending: Did Morrigan's dark ritual, then was made Bann of the Elven Alienage and Elves were given more rights.

Awakening: Architect dead, Amaranthine saved. Thanks to my upgrades, the Vigil was restored in a couple years.

All this stuff about dao is great. It is what made the previous Dragon Age game for me. But do you really think any of this will make a difference in this other Dragonage game? I just don't see what they are offering as being any different if I take my arrogant Elf mage who did what he could to take the throne for himself. Or my Dwarf noble outcast who would have wandered back into the Deep Roads after the prologue. It just seems much more like a game set in the same IP but no real connection to Origins.
