I had to get a new hard drive awhile ago and don't have access to the only character I beat the game with. Now I'm slugging it out with a new character, who is a mage, and I'm trying to make him a paragon of justice that see's the chantry as evil. He understands what and why they do, he just feels they do more harm then good. The only thing that I'm having a hard time justifing is destroying the anvil, yet choosing behlen. aside from that he's set and will be used. He's an elf. Loves morrigan.

The way I saw it - you can be a good person by destroying the Anvil. But you could also be a good person for choosing Bhelen because despite him not being a great guy, he intends to improve the casteless situation more than traditionalist Harrowmont ever would. Personally I thought neither Harrowmont or Bhelen were great for Orzammar.

First import: City Elf, Male. I sold Shianni, my betrothed, and that other elf for some nice pockets of gold which I stealthily hid. I sold Soris out just because I found him too whiny and happily watched the guards take him away.
Romance: Morrigan, I thought she was gonna be a mary-sue of sorts... she kinda is... but I like her all the same.
Lothering: Saved Sten, accidentally skipped Leliana (was my first playthrough and I did not spoil myself in knowing who all the companions even were).
Crows ambush: Zevran killed. He was an elf. You know how THOSE people are.
Circle of Magi: Accidentally saved the tower, I ended-up killing Uldred just before Irving turned into an abomination so go figure. I originally planned to help Wynne since she was a Spirit Healer... then Morrigan told me about how they didn't respect themselves at all, which reminded me of the pathetic Elves in the alienage, so I agreed and Wynne attacked Morrigan for being an apostate so I slaughtered her in self-defense. Don't regret it either. Image IPB
Brecilian Forest: Broke the Werewolf curse since the Lady denied my request to just kill 'em all the next day. As revenge, I murdered all the cured people.
Orzammer/Deep Roads: Destroyed the Anvil at my best bud Shale's request, put his honorable Lord Bhelen Aeducan onto the Dwarven throne. Such a great guy for the young people to admire.
Redcliffe: Saved Conner by killing his mom. Why? Well, I was too lazy to go to the Circle and I wanted Isolde to pay for being such an idiot. I'm not even talking about Conor, I'm talking about leaving Redcliffe completely defenseless by sending the entire army on a quest for an object that's only rumored to exist.
Urn of Scared Ashes: Defiled, Genitivi killed for the good of the world, Helped out that nice dude Gerard Kolgrim and enjoyed that beautiful cut scene with the High Dragon
Korcari Wilds: 'Killed' Flemeth, madwoman must die.
Landsmeet:  regretably I killed Loghain because it would be hypocritical of a self-centered mass murderer not to since it would go against what I stand for, forced a 'non-hardened' Alistair and Anora onto Fereldens throne even though Alistair was against doing it. lmao
Final Battle: Did the Dark Ritual with Morrigan because I love sex.
Boon: Nothing. I left to go find Morrigan.
Vigil's Keep: Not even remotely upgraded
City of Amaranthine: Destroyed. Yay! Mwhahaha! I ALWAYS WANTED TO BURN A CITY TO THE GROUND! Too bad it wasn't the alienage.
Dragon Bone Wastes: Let the Architect be... and honestly, I regret it. I was totally duped by the idea that there was a chance this blight idiocy would stop but ah, well. The Mother, had she not been as ugly as she was, would probably have made the player more interested in her arguments. She was essentially correct about all of her arguments excep for the song. At the very least, even if the Blights don't stop, it just means more normal folk will become awesome peoples like the Warden.
Witch Hunt/Ending: Went with Morrigan through the mirror. The End.

That's almost how I got through:

Except that I stayed behind to deal with the mess in the world and allowed Morrigan to go. We both have work to do...if we see each other again (which, I doubt due to the fact I planned on my warden on being dead three years after witch hunt) Then hey, maybe she kills me.

Also, Alister! harden Angst Rule ALONE! Image IPB

EDIT: Also I was a City Ef, saved my cuz, took the blame and in a BADGood Romance with LelianaImage IPB

Just finished this playthrough with the intent to create an "interesting" DA2 import. Completely different from all my other playthroughs. Surprisingly, and worryingly, enjoyable.
Human Mage.
Kitty in possession of honneleth girl
Wynne atacked me (and died) because Morrigan is allowed to express herself.
Circle saved. (Uldred could have saved himself had he bargained)
Saved Red Cliffe. Some (OK lots of) villiagers died in indiscriminant AOE effects.
Isolde sacrificed to enter fade.
Bargained Connors soul for power (did you know you can get a bonus talent here?).
Sacred Ashes defiled by dragon blood. Guardian spirit, and Leliana, destroyed.
Genetivi died on the way out, just in case I could be implicated.
Jowan alive, back with circle. (Eamon, the wet blanket) wouldn't set him free)
Asunder demon gave reward and was set free.
Branka got the Anvil.
Bhelen on throne, Harrowmont executed.
Flemmeth alive, Morrigan thinks her dead.
Dhalish Elves slaughtered by werewolves (ah who am I kidding, by me)
Ser Cauthrien dead
Tevinter slavers let go after augmenting my health with the elves lifeforce.
Loghain made a grey warden, Alistair left in a huff, Anora on throne.
Did dark ritual.
Asked to set the circle free
Left with Sten (not sure if this will be flagged in any way)

Build: Male Human Noble, Dual-Wielding Templar/Champion

Romance: Leliana

Redcliffe: Saved the town and sacrificed Isolde to save Connor

Orzammar: Killed Baranka (psycho),  destroyed the anvil (evil), and put Harrowmont on the throne (could have chosen better...)

Circle Tower: Saved the Mages

Urn of Sacred Ashes: Destroyed the Cult of  Andraste, beat Kolgrim into the ground, and killed "Andraste" the friendly dragon

Brecilian Forest: Convinced Zathrian to break the curse after a quick battle

Alienage:  Wiped out the slavers

Landsmeet: Talked Cauthrien down, one the debate, beat Loghain and executed him, and then put Alistair and Anora together on the throne (sorry buddy)

Final Battle: Well... my charecter's the father of a deity...  But the Blights done, so go team

Epilogue:  Stayed in Denerim with Leliana to act as Alistair's advisor

I have two....

For the Rogue/Warrior Hawke

Alexander Cousland

Saved the Circle

Completely saved Redcliffe and Connor without any form of sacrifice (but the freaking codex said his mother died <_<)

Retrieved Andrastae's ashes and allowed Genitivi to do pilgrimages (and I guess Leliana is doing it too)

Freed the werewolves of thier curse

Destroyed the Anvil of the Void

Picked Bhelen (I hate him, but he's a necessary evil)

Put Alistair on the throne with Anora

Did the Dark Ritual (out of love )

Spared the Architect

Killed the Harvester

Reunited with Morrigan and my child

And, for the Mage Hawke

Dante Amell

This was largely the same, the only difference being that I let Anora take the throne alone and I killed the Architect, also I let Morrigan leave by herself, as Dante is in a relationship with Leliana.

I have several characters. I pretty much have a character that is like me. I have a pure evil and pure good character also. I'm most likely going to transfer my evil character first and play that way in DA2 as a evil Hawke. Playing evil is so much fun. I'm tired of playing as the hero in every game, why not create a little pain for giggles if I'm going to save Thedas?

I love being a a-hole and seeing the reactions from everyone. I giggle at the little worms that cry when I go in to kill them. The reactions of the peasants is hilarious...

I especially like pissing people off when it comes to maker speeches too. Morrigan is my love! She is misunderstood!

...Ok, is it disturbing I like to watch the weak/helpless die in disturbing ways?

My definite build, though my second one will be in progress soon (I want two DA2 playthroughs at least):

Name: Rhea Amell

Build: Female Human Mage, general mage talents (wow, totally avoided a specialization!)

Romance: Alistair

Circle Tower: Sided with the Mages, the boon was to free the Tower

Redcliffe: Third Choice - had the Circle help with Connor

Ashes: Destroyed the Cult, killed the Dragon, left the ashes pure, did not stop Genitivi

Brecilian Forest: Cured the werewolves and had Lanaya's Dalish aid

Orzammar: Anvil destroyed, Harrowmont

Wilds:  Left Flemeth alive, lied to Morrigan.

Landsmeet: Convinced Cauthrien to back down, executed Loghain after proving his foul deeds (did what I could to reverse/stop them all, broke myself and Alistair out of prison), Anora sole ruler

Final Battle: Dark Ritual, Anora rules and gives boons, Leliana (not hardened) goes on the Ashes expedition, Zevran asks to remain, Sten wished well, Shale and Wynne wished well, Morrigan leaves with child.  Alistair (hardened) and Mage ride into the sunset

Awakening: In progress, so far up through Nathanial recruited (all Wardens too).  I suspect I'll turn down the Architect and try to save everyone I can.  Will finish when new video card arrives (*grumble grumble*<_<)

Witch Hunt: Future, but probably leave on amaciable terms

The other will be my Dalish Rogue/Ranger who I will only do Origins and Witch Hunt with.  Origins I won't take any "middle paths" but make some tougher decisions based on bias (Brecilian Forest) or what is before me (Connor or Isolde).  Haven't decided about the Ashes, and I plan on hardening everyone, letting Loghain make up for his actions in the end, and riding off into the sunset with Sten and Zevran.  I'll probably also end the game with my Warden feeling betrayed by Morrigan (secrecy, Flemeth's words, then Morrigan's words about the DR being the whole point, leading to refusal).  I'll go into Witch Hunt actually hunting her.

Only one problem with this import is that it might not take in your boon of choice when you import and yet everyone seems to not be worried over it, is there a secret to this that I'm not aware of?

I'm guessing it will take the default boon for your origin, seeing as there is no autosave after you pick the boon. Like Dalish Elves automatically get land for their people, Mages get freedom for mages and City Elves get a bann to represent them in the Landsmeet.

My main Warden is a female mage, Urania Amell.  She had mixed feelings about the tower.  To her it was a gilded cage or sorts, but it was also home.  She kept mostly to herself and her studies, and therefore was thought to be a bit snobbish or aloof by the other apprentices. She also had incredible patience, which made her both a formidable mage and able to tolerate Jowan as a friend. All that said, she was proud to be a mage and Duncan was forced to conscript her.  Urania didn’t want to be a Grey Warden, but burden as it was, it gave her a freedom she would not have had otherwise.

class: Mage
Specializations: Arane Warrior/Shape Shifter/Battlemage(Awakening)

Dragon Age: Origins

Urania Amell was a good mage and always tried to do the right thing as her actions would speak for mages everywhere.

Lothering: She spared the bandits outside the camp, but not before taking all their money first.  She enlisted both Leliana and Sten to her cause, though she was hesitant with both at first.  She beat Logain’s soldiers and sent them packing w/ a message to their master, “She was coming for him.”

Stone Prisoner: Tricked Demon, and saved little girl. Shale was recruited as a companion.

Warden’s Keep: Killed the Demon Sophia. Spared Avernus to continue is research ethically.  Drank the blood taint potion to add to her arsenal of powers.

Circle Tower: She sided w/ the mages and killed all the abominations, but let the blood mage go.  Irving and Wynne both survived.

Redcliffe: Connor was saved w/ the help of the mages and all members of the militia made it through the battle.  She herself went through the fade.  After the events she asked that Jowan be given mercy, but it was out of her hands.  He was taken to the Circle Tower.  Found Sten’s sword.

Urn of Sacred Ashes: She killed Kolgrim and his followers, including the high dragon and made it through the gauntlet.  She took a pinch of the ashes and though it was a difficult choice, allowed Genetivi to spread the word.

Crow Ambush: She spared Zevron, and enlisted his aid in fighting the Blight.  He later helped her when she was ambushed by Talisien.

Flemeth: Killed Flemeth per Morrigan’s request.  She and Morrigan had become “friends” by this point.

Orzammar: Dwarven politics befuddled Urania and so she used her best judgment and placed Harrowmont on the thrown after destroying the anvil.  After seeing the brood mother, she rethought the necessity of a “Calling” in her later years.

Brecilian Forest: The werewolves were cured and the Lanaya pledged that the Dalish elves would come when called.

Denerim: She hardened Alister, killed Marjolaine, rejected the Crow’s offer, killed Howe’s guards at the Pearl, cleaned up the alleyways, killed the blood mages, talked Ser Landry out of a duel, did a few of the mages quests, and delivered the box the Red Jenny.

Arl of Denerim Estate: Here, Urania killed Howe, freed the boy being tortured, and all the other prisoners, w/ the exception of Vaughn as he had caused the elven uprising.  She left him in the dungeon.  She saved the Queen w/out further incident and surrendered to Ser Cauthrien.

Fort Draken: Alone in the dungeon, Urania charmed the guard and stole his key, freeing herself and the man in the other cell. She killed the two mabari hounds, and the two guards, but posed as a Fort guard and left through the front door w/out further incident.

Elven Alienage: She killed the demon in the orphanage, and freed the elves in the hospice.  She later killed Caladrius and freed Valendrian and the other elves.

Landsmeet: Urania made Loghain look like a paranoid, power hungry fool and killed him in the duel.  She persuaded Anora and Alister to rule jointly.  Note: Urania saw the logic in sparing Loghain, but Alister would have none of it and to her mind Alister had to be king. Though she had no love for Loghain, killing him was not an easy choice.

Endgame: Though the thought of Morrigan’s “dark ritual” sickened her, Urania saw the logic in it.  Alister had to be king and there was no way she would let Anora rule alone.  So, she persuaded Alister to bed Morrigan and would deal with the consequences later.  The final group consisted of her, Alister, Morrigan and Sten.  Urania killed the archdemon and as a boon asked that the Circle Tower be given its independence.  Urania remained in Denerim w/ her lover, Leliana.

Awakening

Killing an archdemon was a simple goal.  Kill the big bad dragon and go home.  Ruling over a land was not so simple and Urania was out of her element.  Still, she viewed it as a duty she would not shirk.

Vigil’s Keep: The keep and her army were upgraded to the best standards possible.  The deep roads access was shut off, hopefully keeping out the darkspawn for decades. Anders was conscripted into the Grey Wardens. Orghen’s offer to join was not rejected.  Natanial Howe was originally let go w/ all his belongings, but was made a Grey Warden upon his return.

Wending Woods: Velanna’s offer to join the Grey Wardens was reluctantly accepted.

Kal'Hirol: The tablet honoring the casteless was brought back to the Keep and Sigrun was made a Grey Warden.

Blackmarsh: Sided w/ Justice and destroyed both the Baroness and the Spirit Dragon.  All tears in the fade were closed. Justice sided w/ the Grey Wardens.

Amaranthine: Anders was saved from the Chantry, Sigrun made amends to her friend from Orzammar, the blight orphans were given money, drink, and the chantry book and the smugglers were all rooted out.  The vast majority of the Keep’s military guarded the city instead of the land. Eventually, during the final battle, Amaranthine was protected and the Keep was left to its fate.

Dragon Bone Wastes and the endgame: Velanna , Orghren and Sigrun accompanied Urania on the final battle.  The Architect was too vague in his reasoning to spare the darkspawn and so he was slain as was the Mother.

The Golems of Amgarrak

Urania accompanied Jerrik Dace on the mission to find his brother.  The harvester was ultimately destroyed, but a slew of other harvesters were let loose before the final cave in.

Witch Hunt

After a farily short journey across Ferelden, Urania met w/ Morrigan once final time.  The two argued, debated and even shared a laugh.  Urania offered to accompany Morrigan on her journey, but the witch declined.  The two parted as friends and Urania went back to oversee the rebuilding of Vigil’s Keep.

Ultimately, the events of Amaranthine and the death within the farmlands became overwhelming and Urania left the Keep, naming a slightly more matured Orghen as the new Warden Commander.  She reunited with Leliana in Denerim.  Where the two went from there, no one knows.

I just finished the playthrough that I'm importing first.

Image IPB

Tera, Dalish Elf, rogue
Lothering, took Lelianna and Sten, figured that they'd need as much help as they could get.
Sacred Ashes, didn't defile the ashes, killed Kolgrim and the dragon but didn't care what happened to the ashes.
Circle tower saved, Wynne added to the party. Tera didn't care one way or the other until RTO when Wynne told Alistair to watch it or he might end up in her bed, then she wanted to slap Wynne.
Redcliffe, saved the village, gave Kaitlyn and Bella 500 silvers each, told Morrigan that is wasn't her money (-5), saved Connor and Isolde by going back to Irving, Tera figured that he owed her for saving his life.
Orzammar, Bhelem on the throne, again she didn't care one way or the other but Bhelem did promise troops immediately, destroyed the anvil
Landsmeet, dueled Loghain herself and let Alistair kill him, made hardened Alistair the king and sent Anora to the tower, convinced Alistair to stay in the relationship which he did. Convinced Alistair to do the dark ritual because she didn't want either of them to die. She didn't take Morrigan to Fort Drakon and told her that she couldn't trust her. Morrigan of course said, when could you. Tera killed the archdemon and lives happily ever after until Alistair makes her go back to the Grey Wardens at Vigil's keep. She took Anders, Nathaniel and Ogren with her to defend Amaranthine and spare the architect, killed the brood mother, spared the messenger. Tera was a master ranger and it was so cool having a poisonous spider or a great bear with her when she was fighting. Oh her boon, which she shouldn't have asked for but 50/50 is hindsight, was to stay with Alistair at court and he made her chancellor and left her in charge all the time while he was off having adventures but in the end it worked out because she and Alistair went off together and had their happily ever after for approximately 30 years.

But what about the other choices in the game like who I romanced, spared, and others decision in Awakening and Witch Hunt?

It's been confirmed that the choices you make will have an impact on DA2 including ones from witch hunt and awakening. So I assume there will be some in game chatter or another for a nice chunck of the content.
