Hey there!
I have GTX580 and I tried to configure for max settings.
Someone told me that I should just enter the max settings in-game (or in utillty) and it'll be the best...
Now, I need the original INI files 'cause I didn't back them up...
No matter what resolution but the ORIGINAL INI FILES...

*I Don't want to Reinstall 'case I have saves and stuff...

When uninstalling the game you'll get the option to keep your saves. They will not be wiped.

IIRC, ME1 keeps copies of its default .inis in its install folder (the one that's under Program Files, by default). As long as you don't mess with those, I believe you can just delete the .inis in My Documents, and it will just regenerate them from the defaults the next time it runs.
