He is forgettable for me... I saw him 10 minutes ago and I don't remember his body...

Food for thought: they're really pushing the Signature Edition preorders. If the DLC will only be free for SE, I'm sure they'd be telling us: "Preorder now! It's the only way to get the DLC for FREE!"

what is it with nobles being archers? First Eleanor Cousland, then Nate, and now this guy. I mean, I know many nobles enjoy hunting in their spare time, but there should still be some trained as soldiers.

That aside, I like the character so far. It seems like ordering the SE version's gonna be worth it :)

The Bioware boards should offer themselves for hire as private investigators.

All joking aside, the reveal of yet another Rogue has me a bit irked and even more hopeful.  In Dragon Age Origins, we had two mages, two rogues, three warriors, one dog, and one golem.  If we have three rogues, that could imply that we may have a few more companions in Dragon Age 2.  More party members is certainly plus both gameplay wise and story wise.

I am guessing there will be roughly the same number of companions as in DAO. Though I wonder how they distribute the workload among the five main writers.

David - Fenris
Luke - Aveline
Jennifer - Sebastian, Bethany
Sheryl - Isabela
Mary - Varric

If they all wrote two companions each then that would cover Carver, two mages and maybe another warrior (or a dog/shale type).

But that assumes Bethany/Carver have content equivalent to a full companion. Also some writers may prefer to write one companion and lots of minor characters instead. And others want to write more than two companions,

Also, I come to notice "quests" as a plural as well. does that means that our companions will have more than a single personal quest as well? (which is pretty awesome if y' ask me.)

Yes, all companions have multiple personal quests. This includes Sebastian.

The bonus with this character is that every time someone says his name, Seb Hanlon gets to cringe. Posted Image

Not so much "cringe" as "spin around in his chair before realizing they're talking about DLC". Also, there was a time where bugs related to Sebastian and his content got assigned to me to fix, entirely on the strength of the name. /sigh.

Distance kills, less messy no soiling of hands.

Glad I upgraded to the Signature Edition. Sebastian is most certainly a welcome addition to the DA2 crew. He'll definitely have a place in my party so long as I have the need for a rogue.

Yeah, I don't think companions are split evenly. I could be wrong, but I remember that in DAO Dave wrote a buttload of companions while, say, Luke wrote questlines and minor stuff.

Mmmm... new info in the morning. A lovely thing to wake up to.

I squeed, I'll admit it. But, not for the character. For the tease of a cinematic from the trailer. Only 2 months away now. *dreamy eyes of fangirlness* As for the character, he seems interesting. I like the accent. The whole murder of his family thing and wanting revenge... first thing that came to mind was the Noble Human Origin of DAO. I'm somewhat amused by the thought of having a companion who has a background story a bit similar to one of my wardens.

Pretty awesome. Here's hoping he's romancable.

Although I was somewhat reminded of this www.youtube.com/watch when I saw the trailer.
Sorry about the crappy quality. Only one I could find. :pinched:

If you've been following the development of the TV adaptation of GRRM's Game of Thrones at all, the ability of fans to pinpoint an actor for any part with even the slightest clue shouldn't surprise you.  :D

Oh, man, just my luck: the companion that I instantly fall in love with is the DLC guy who's highly unlikely to be available. I mean, Varric and Fenris are OK, but ... SCOTTISH ACCENT. It is my Achilles' Heal.

Also, if my Lady Hawke could romance him, she could marry him and be Princess of ... wherever.... and hang out with my Princess-Consort Cousland. The Warden and Sebastian could discuss archery and having your whole family murdered!

There are so many Minsc jokes I wish to make right now, but I am faaaar too classy for that.

Anyway it was great to have a new character reveal. We'll totally avenge your family, buddy. Unless they were like..horrid people who deserved to die.

Thanks for the new info.

Nice! For me this Sebastian guy seems to be the most interesting so far... He gives me a Nathaniel Howe "vibe" and Nathaniel was supercool.

Here's info about NG+ : there is no info because there is nothing to discuss.
