There are other threads where people can discuss the graphics in the whole game, and the pros and cons and ethics of DLC. A character reveal thread is probably not one of them.

Based on something said on the Fenris thread, I'm planning on trying my hand at drawing Sebastian as Count Chocula later tonight (something to do with the hair). (although I do like the snippet seen of Sebastian so far)

Make sure he's enjoying the whole bowl! With crown marhmellows  a breakfast of champions..and those plotting vengence

EDIT: No Jaulen don't back out cuz of me I wanna see that come to fruition!!! *depair*

Hm. Two "archer" Rogues. Hopefully Archery talents have been made actually useful so Varric and Sebastian aren't just standing around looking pretty.

No idea, but it'd be pretty cool if so, and in keeping with the variety of accents we know about in other regions.

Perhaps just because of subconscious expectations, but I've always been slightly jarred when hearing American accents in DAO. I guess because the region is relatively small, taking up a pangea-style continent (give or take a couple of islands), I suppose it makes more sense in my own odd little mind for those accents to reflect accents that have developed alongside each other in Europe.

I think that most people don't really associate American accents with a high fantasy setting. I know I don't. But I like the fact that someone has them. I especially like that they seem to be including so many different accents into Dragon Age 2. And Scottish is my favorite accent EVAR. So I look forward to interacting with this character.

Also, to all those wondering about him "being for fangirls,", all I can say is that I hope he's emphatically NOT a love interest. I'd love to have a pretty boy in the party that is "just not that into me."

It's made by a different team, with a different budget. Specifically, the DLC team, and the DLC budget, which is funded by... well, you should be able to figure it out from here.

If you don't like DLC, period, then boycott. Maybe others will too and Bioware just won't make that content at all.

did you consider that maybe they're doing something like this (to me this seems like the logical route but whether it will  be that way remains to be seen)

"the way i see it, there are two different conditions in this:

1- pre-order the signature edition, you get sebastian for free, if not his price tag is 7 dollars 

2- project ten dollar implements aprox. 10 dollars worth of dlc if you buy a new game 

if condition 1 isn't met, condition 2 might kick in if you buy the game new and sebastian may implemented in this condition. 

if both conditions aren't met (buy the game used) you'd have to buy sebastian if you wanted him.

Although, when they're not spearing people with their twangy arrows of lurve, I'd be more than happy for them to stand around looking pretty.

after watching this i am wondering why people think that dao2 have better graphics than dao.
Dao origins on pc was way better than this.

I keep telling my son this and he keeps denying it.

Two archer rogue princes, no less.

Well Varric would have no clan status if he went back to Orzamar, so he's only a merchant prince to surface dwarves....

I was thinking the same thing, I hope with the archers we've seen so far that archery is actually a little more useful this time around.

I guess this means retail servers will be going down from overload now that we have a hinted at confirmation.

One of the Free Marches city states, most likely. Chris Priestly brought up principalities when people were wondering what he was prince of earlier. A good comparison in modern times would be something like Monaco. It's just a city, but it has a royal line that goes back a long time. Don't need a country to have a prince.
