No-ooo, don't cater to my whims, I'll start acting spoiled!

What if his eyes were a lighter shade of blue?

SEE? SEE WHAT YOU MADE ME DO? xD

Seriously though, it was great to begin with and it's great now.

Aw shucks.  ^_^  (I actually tried a lighter shade of blue when making the original, but I thought it looked too cartoony.)

I have a question. Will this "extra" character require an internet connection to download or will he come with the disk?

I remember reading that we'll get a free code for this character, which implies he'll be downloaded.

I'm also hoping that Scottish accents are frequent in the game, because they're probably my favorite accent next to British (granted, there are a ton of British accents).

Erm ... this is somewhat of a tautology .... a Scottish accent is a British accent.

Pedantry aside all I can say is .

Image IPBImage IPBYeah, but it's so distinctive I think of it as a completely different region.  I can't tell the difference between British accents, but I know Scottish accent instnatly.

And, Jennifer Hepler, his writer, hinted he may be a LI.

To be sure, Jennifer said that you could flirt with him and see where it leads. We don't know Jennifer well enough to interpret that sentence. Prior to today, I've seen her post once before and that's it.

That makes her the Quiet One. This might suggest a deeply sensitive or philosophical soul, or it might mean she's the one most likely to snap and mow down her co-workers in an orgy of violence.

Why?  There are lots of ways of getting around limited internet speeds at home.  (If you know of all the methods and have tried everything, then sorry for bothering you.  But it'd be a shame to miss out on Seb, don't you agree?)

i'm tending to believe it's not the first choice:lol:

Wait a second! There are flirt  lines?

*tries really hard not to get her hopes up*

I recall a dev saying a while back that there are designated 'flirt' lines (complete with unique flirt icon, heavens knows what that is). Presumably ths was done to stop people falling into accidental romances, as happened a lot in Origins.

You can join the club of anticipating individuals; we wait with baited breath.

The flirt icon looks like this: <3 It's also documented in the manual.

Will the codex still have a tutorial function with this sort of information in the event that the manual is inconvenient to look at e.g. digital downloads?

Yup, a shame. Keeps me from downloading DLC off the internet as well.

I have high speed intenet in my house . . . but that internet is located in a seperate room from my Xbox and TV. If I wanted to download anything then I'd have to drag my TV and Xbox into the room that the computer is in . . .

 . . . and quiet frankly I don't care that much.

I'm not sure we could tackle that. Sounds a bit fishy.

And the last romance she wrote ended in one half of it becoming a broodmother.

Hmm. "Flirt with him and see where it leads" sounds to me like he's probably celibate. If not, maybe he's strictly gay (would be a great non-stereotypical LI on that count). I'm gonna curb my hopes and brace for a Samara-style scenario in every case, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised somewhere along the way.

The trailer piqued my curiosity. I hope we see more of these. We've already seen a little of Isabela and Varric, so I'm hoping for Fenris or Aveline next.

I found the Samara scene quite touching. Although that moment could never be truly replicated IMO, it would be cool to see something along those lines in my FemHawke playthroughs.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm a little disappointed he isn't a character like Shale. Not the character, I mean I just like companions who's playstyle and development is unique from others.

Maybe there'll be one in the main game.

And yes the accents are splendid.

His eyes, and Elthina's eyes, they look quite a bit different from the eyes in DA Origins. More light reflective, and less flat. I really like this particular change, but I wonder if it applies to all the characters?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Lady Hawke has some crazy bright blues.

I'm not fond of the unnaturally colored, unnaturally bright irises, but that's just me. The eyes look much more alive and that's the important part :)

It probably would've been sooner but simply mentioning Sebastian as estrogen bait, had one user threatening a punch to the face and another one up in arms about stigmas and such. Not to mention the inane talk about graphics and how dare DLC cost 7 dollars  stuff. I wouldn't want to draw him either until things lightened up...and since they have guess I can draw him now lol

Very nice. I guess I am a little sad that this means that Nate will be limited to a cameo, since we don't need another archer. But I am glad I preordered!

His voice sounds a lot like Nathaniel's to me. But Scottish. Which is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
