It's not necessarily just the female forum goers.  I've given up on the idea of finding out the LI's before BioWare wishes to give us that info.  They shall not have my tears.

Seb looks alright.  I'll have to wait and see how he fairs in gamewise.

We're not all girls.  Some of us just like well-written characters.  The same author who wrote some of the most intricate parts (the Deep Roads) of Dragon Age: Origins wrote this character as well.

honestly, i was expecting the "bonus character" to be afterthoughtish and decidedly non-essential. but the exiled prince dlc looks reeeeaaaally interesting. glad i bit the bullet and pre-ordered.

Heh, totally agree with your post. Girls are girls even as gamers, I suppose. I like romances in RPGs too, but Dragon Age isn't only a love story... Yet.

As for Sebastian, he looks supercool and gives me a similar vibe like Nathaniel Howe who was my favourite male companion in Dragon Age so far. Let's hope he's going to be free like Shale and this pre-order thing is just a marketing trick.
