I take it the thread has been overrun, and meaningful discussion on C-Bass other than "Will we be able to press our slimy, mucus-covered lips against his" has become unsuitable?

It's funny you should say that because I lost my lips in a tragic accident and had them replaced with banana slugs.

Priesthood - Oh no. Hope he doesn't take the vows seriously.I think this is my favorite post of the day.
I'm more worried he'll be hatin' on a mage Hawke. <_< Sort of a mood-killer to hear, "You there! What are you doing out of your tower?"

sebastian's description:
"The Exiled Prince" introduces the noble archer Sebastian Vael, with players joining him in the middle of his quest to avenge the brutal murder of his family. Sworn to the priesthood as a boy, Sebastian is forced to re-enter the viper's nest of princely politics when his family is brutally murdered, leaving him as the sole surviving heir. Banding together with Sebastian and his unshakable loyalty and excellent aim, players will choose to either avenge Sebastian's murdered family to reclaim his title or direct his holy vengeance on their enemies in Kirkwall. In addition to this action-packed storyline, players will also be able to enlist Sebastian as a follower throughout a majority of Dragon Age II.

That worries me too. What they men for "a majority of DA2"? It sounds like I'll not be a companion for the entire game.
Well, ten years is a long time. I don't think every companion will stick with you every single day of that period. They migth get a life of their own sooner or later.

I'm also hoping that Scottish accents are frequent in the game, because they're probably my favorite accent next to British (granted, there are a ton of British accents).this is somewhat of a tautology .... a Scottish accent is a British accent.
Pedantry aside all I can say is.
Yeah, but it's so distinctive I think of it as a completely different region. I can't tell the difference between British accents, but I know Scottish accent instnatly.
The two aren't synonymous:wizard:
Okay, I think I get it. Maybe. Britain=entire UK, and English=England but not Scotland. Either way, I like the accents.

Haha. It seems I'm having too much fun with doodling Seb. XD
The other guy is my HN, Edric. And I think he's going, "So I heard your family got murdered..."Though I don't know what my HN would be doing in the Free Marches. XD

I'm guessing he's the prince of a kingdom currently unknown to us players or he's the prince of one of the free marches city states.

I'm imagining Sebastian browsing his thread (inspired by Aimo's pic of Alistair on the computer) to see how he's being received and the faces he'd be making at the turn this conversation has taken. Something like D:
You rang?

On his accent, seems to me his place of origin will be like that of various characters, all of whom are in Awakening. For example: Ines - the senior mage from the Fereldan Circle of Magi - who Wynne asks you to find and convince to go to Cumberland. Not sure where such characters hail from.
People have been saying he's got a Scottish or an Irish accent, but I think it's more cockney or perhaps Welsh. cockney being, I guess, a kind of English accent. LOL, cockney is to English as Texan is to American accents.Since Fereldan's generally have an English accent, maybe that's where he's from. Wouldn't make sense, but there you go.
