Another dev in a live PAX interview said that DA2's production didn't go into full gear until Awakening was done.

Sebastian's armor looks rough to me. It's pretty grainy close-up. The hands/fingers on all characters look terrible. Facial animation is slightly off. Blurry, low-res, and undetailed textures are everywhere. Lighting is all over the place. Environments still seem sterile and barren. Weapons still float behind character's backs. They still can't fit things like bowstrings into the game. Just... ugh.

I'd rather the game be delayed than be shipped in this sad state. This is far behind ME2's standards.

I am assuming that the fine details, shadowing and textures are still being added. That would explain why the release looks the way it does. However, the clip does give us an interesting taste of what is to come. I'm not worried. The sauce still needs to simmer a bit before it is done. Once it is served we will faint in ecstasy.

The point I was trying to make that apparently flew over your head was, despite the fact that there are a handful of whiners, most people are recieving this DLC well and like it. My reading comprehension skills are just fine, love, however maybe you should go back through your grammar notes and reread the pages on "insinuation," which is what you did when you implied that I was *****ing about *****ing because ~everyone likes to hear themselves talk~. Erm, no, I was commenting on a topic that has been coming up a lot recently, which is the dev vs. consumer relationship on the forum, and I decided to give an example of my point while the example was in full effect. If I wanted to listen to myself talk (read: type) I would just post things like "THIS WATERMELON LOOKS DELICIOUS!!!!! CALIFORNIA, WEST COAST OF THE UNITED STATES!!!!! SALLY SELLS SEASHELLS BY THE SEASHORES!!!!!" and completely ignore the rabble that was going on around me.

I'm well aware that there are many people commenting about how they love the DLC, and kudos to them. However, I'm guessing that those same people aren't the ones complaining about the devs. Therefore, my comment had nothing (read: 0) to do with them. So if you're apparently so edumacated, why would you quote my comment and then start on a completely different topic? Did you not understand what I was talking about? If only there were types of speech that allowed us to question the intent of other people's statements.....

I'm curious to see how Sebastian interacts with other characters around him though. I'm really interested in the party banter. He looks like a no-nonsense type of guy.

This is what we were doing before you chimed in. Your negavity did nothing but sidetrack the topic. Which is what I've said twice now. Why exactly are you arguing with me? My post wasn't meant as an attack though you took it like that. There's no need for you to get nasty.

I like Sebastian. A lot. LI or not, he just seems cool. That was the general feeling of the thread before your post. All I was saying was that, that kind of comment wasn't really necessary when everyone was already getting along nicely.

I was one of the ones who preordered because he was revealed but tbh I would have preoredered anyway, just on the last day instead of a few days ago. I am interested in him because I like his outfit and his voice and the fact that he could possibly be an LI. If not, I can at least flirt with him and make him feel uncomfortable (hopefully....maybe). Even if he isn't an LI - that's not going to take away from his character any but it will dissappoint some fans. Why not? I mean some fans were dissappointed that Sten couldn't be romanced because he presented a comepletely different view point compared to the other romance characters - that and he brought something akin to a smidgeon of stability. Maybe some players love the accent or just figure from first glance that Seb is their cup of tea.

Or maybe they just want a man they can see eyeball to eyeball with (while standing, anyway).

We're two months away from release. There's definitely reason to be worried.

So anyways, I know that there's only one type of weapon that a party member can equip, so does that mean there's going to be sort of an upgrading type of system along wtih finding new weapons for people to equip, or just finding the new weapons part? I'd love to see just how much damage he can dish out with that thing.

I didn't find Beast hot, per se, but his personality was quite charming, yes. Personaly, I think that Human!Beast is ugly. I expected something more... rough than the pretty boy with long hair Of course, first time I watched the movie I was really, really little, so I just find Beast scary

I didn't find Beast hot, per se, but his personality was quite charming, yes. Personaly, I think that Human!Beast is ugly. I expected something more... rough than the pretty boy with long hair Of course, first time I watched the movie I was really, really little, so I just find Beast scary

I admit I went little overboard with that . When I was little Beast felt more save and reliable than the humanprince( he was the scarier one with his glitter and sugary feel to him)

Wooooooooooooooooow the character trailer looked awesome!!! The graphics are waaay more polished and smooth.The animation seemed smooth and GAWD I LOVE his accent!!!!! XD

His story probably doesn't have much to add to the regular story. That's usually how it is with extra characters.
