How old is Hawke? If he's 25, Mama Hawke could have him when she was 18-20, so she could have now 43-45 years.
But in truth I don't see her face very well, so I can't say how old she is.

Varric was confirmed to be in his mid to late 20s, wasn't he? At the beginning of the game, at least.

From the same interview claiming Merrill is a companion.

I do wish the devs would clear up information about it. I've heard some people say the error with Fenris' class might have been a translation issue.

Seems like DA characters hit this mid-20s to mid-30s range, he looks just shy of 30 to me.

*headscratch* Not a single thing in the game gave me the impression that he's any younger than 24. Especially people poking fun at his virginitude. ("You're how old?" "You mean to tell me you have never... wooed? Not once?") I'm just going to keep him at 26/28-ish in my head.

Rowan was alive when Alistair was born. Loghain says one of the reasons Alistair was hidden was to spare Rowan's reputation. Fiona's baby was born after Rowan had been dead a couple of years. Therefore, Alistair is not Fiona's son. Maric was no longer married when he slept with Fiona, because Rowan was dead.

Word of God has corrected the timeline to say that Alistair is 20ish.  Hence born after Rowan's death.  He was originally meant to be in his early 30s but that was changed when his character was changed.  Gaider also corrected the misprint of Cailan's age in The Calling.

All signs point to Fiona.  We could find out differently, but it would mean Maric was screwing around with some maid around the same time he was shtupping Fiona.  Can you see it?  I can't, really.
