It's the voice actor for the mabari actually. It's a very talented dog. As you can see it can even speak with an Antartican dialect. The dog even canceled a space shuttle launch mission just to finish his voice overs for this game. Now that's commitment!

Frankly he doesn't sound that interesting, but there's so little info that there is little to discuss at this point...

Perhaps he is hunting Zevran down because he had a gay one night stand with him and a nug and doesn't want anyone to know. The family plot is just a curtain on the truth.

I thought the very same thing. As soon as I heard, "It is my right..." I was like, "Sounds like Nathaniel!" until I heard, "my dyoo-tee..." then I went, "Wait, no, it's not," and giggled, anyway. I've always found Scottish accents to be one of the sexiest out there. Rawr, I say!

After learning of Seb's VA, I began youtubing some interview vids of him. I really liked what I heard. He's also quite attractive. *giggles again* Ugh, I'm acting like a right young'un with all these damned giggles. I need to keep reminding myself I'm 30. 30! 30-year-olds do not giggle! *watches Seb's trailer for the 50th time* ... *giggles* Oh, sod it.

If it wasn't obvious enough, I'm already quite fond of Seb and he's earned a guaranteed spot alongside fem!Hawke, Fenris, and "Anders." I really wanted to take Carver along to see what he might think of my Hawke being surrounded by such attractive men, but even thinking about leaving one of them back at their homesite makes me wibble. Wibble!  Can't have that, now; so, Carver will just have to share his thoughts outside of the party.

Ah, I just remembered that I hear we can select some flirt lines with Seb to see how far things might go. This is good news! You never know, he might just be a bonus LI! I certainly wouldn't find it wrong if he was. Just because he's strictly DLC and must be paid for separately (if you didn't pre-order, that is) doesn't mean he can't also be an LI, yes? What's stopping Bioware from doing it? Nothing! I know Shale wasn't an LI, but that was because she was made of stone. If she were... Maker's breath, think of the chafing. The chafing!

So, yes, I find nothing wrong with Seb being a fully fleshed-out romance option (bi most likely, if at all). Hell, why not? If he has his own multiple sidequests, can be brought along for most of the story, and has loads of dialogue, what's stopping Bioware from making him an LI? Think about it for a second. In DAO, Leliana and Zev could die when you first meet them; did their possible early deaths stop the writers from making them romanceables? No.

*re-reads her post* Oy, if anyone's able to take anything away from my incoherent ramblings, you deserve cookies, cake, and pie. I like pie, especially dutch apple. ZOMG, it's the best ever.

You only murdered his father, who first murdered your entire family except for your brother who was away at the time. But had he been there, he would've gotten axed, too. So it's okay, you're justified. Seb is basically your Cousland, going for revenge on the people that murdered your family.

Sure, but Cousland didn't have Nathaniel's voice and bow AFAIK... Just kidding. Neither Nathaniel nor Cousland had this relation with the chantry, so there may be some twists around this story and Hawke's destiny.

Did anyone else notice that it's Sebastian in the "DA2 Making Of" Dev Diary video? At the 3:23 mark, in between Varric and Isabela. He looks a bit different, but it might be the lighting. Fenris looks sort of green, so it must be the lighting.

Unless a Dev said, "No, that's not a companion, it's a guard.... Yeah" since that came out before info on Sebastian was released.

His skin looks a little too tan or his hair is a little too light to be Seb. Though, I'll admit, he does look like he's wearing similar armor. And he IS carrying a bow.

Character creator hairstyle, probably. I've seen Anders'/Duncan's hairstyle and Zevran's on several guards so far. Also Ser Gaider has confirmed that Sebastian has a completely unique model. What that guy is wearing appears to be city guard armor.

Well, I did say similar. As in... they both have similar colors and shapes. I only got a glimpse of him anyway. Doesn't look like him, anyway, not from what you can see of the face/hair.

There is a guard right behind isabella and the one that looks like seb doesnt look like that guard so im voting it is him

I thought it was him as well when I first watch the video. There's a bunch of similarities between them.

Will he be like Mass Effect 2's DLC characters, where you can do their loyalty mission instantly and they have little story impact or will he be more fully integrated and paced like Shale?

I really hope it is the latter.
