Actually I don't think he will be romanceable as it says he is only a companion through "most" of the story.... seriously, who do we have? An elf and a dwarf.....slim pickings for us girls....

The devs already said that all the characters in your party will be there "most" of the time though. Ten years is a long time and some characters will go in and out, including Sebastian. This doesn't automatically make him not romanceable. His being a DLC kind of makes him not romanceable but he will be an essential companion in the party just as all the other characters are. I am looking forward to some good conversations with him.

Being an eternal (semi) optimist, I hope he is romanceable. Curse you, BioWare, if you have a hot prince who's not romanceable!!!! *shakes fist* Yeah, I know that the DLC means it's unlikely, BUT if he was integrated along the lines of Shale, maaaaaybe...

How would you girls react if he were in fact a Li but it were only so because guys had an extra Li to begin with? The way I see it, Varric is extremely unlikely to be a Li given that he´s the narrator, so that leaves Fenris and "Anders" as possible male LIs. Meanwhile, we know Isabella to be a LI and it´s possible, and my personal hope, that both Avelin and Merril are also LIs, so to make up for the disparity Bioware decided to make a male LI as DLC. If this were in fact the case, would you gals be happy, or feel discriminated against?

This is a completely hypothetical question of course.

Not sure "discriminated" is the best word, maybe it is, but yes, unfair LI balance makes me upset. And I don't consider GxG a genuine replacement since it's unfortunately mostly played by men. If he IS an LI to make up for a lack of balance, they did a ****ty move making him DLC. "You want equality? Can I have $7? k. Here's your half-assed storyline."

But that's not the case. There might be some flirting with Sebastian, but as much as I would like for it to be as deep as an in-game romance, that's very unlikely

@Link3521, Personally I think I'd be extatic he was a love interest, so much so I wouldn't care for the reasons behind it. If there were an uneven amount of LI's I trust there's be a reason for it, BW has never EVAH let me down before and I wouldn't feel discriminated against in the slightest. Simply making their games more accessible to girls in that respect I view as a gift, it's frustrating when I find a game I want to play and its male focused (I play it anyway! XD)



Truly I'd love for the smexy scottish prince to be a LI, but it seems unlikely...though that shan't stop my Hawkette's advances >

Hopefully that is not the case as I will be sad I can't be with that spoilt prince who screams of 'murhhhrder!' Well, hopefully the flirting lines can keep me amused.
