Though I don't understand, if it's the Chantry, aren't only women allowed to be priests? Unless he has a position more like a nun or something.
I assumed they used 'priesthood' because it's something people can easily digest.
According to the dragon age wiki, men can join certain areas of the Chantry, and those who are 'affrirmed', whether male or female, are considered 'priests'.
The chain of command is like this (at least for the Chantry of Andraste):
The Divine - Woman, addressed as 'Most Holy' or 'Your Perfection'
She's the spiritual leader, most powerful after the Maker and Andraste.
Grand Clerics - women, addressed as 'Your Grace'
They preside over various Chantries within certain regions. They report back to Val Royaeux when the College of Clerics convenes, but otherwise stay in their designated regions.
The Mother/Revered Mother - woman, addressed as 'Your Reverence'
They are the Chantry heads, and the priests responsible for administering spiritual-wellbeing to their flock.
Sisters/Brothers - men and women
They are made up of three main groups.
Affirmed - Regular folk who have turned to the Chantry for succor. They normally come from 'colorful' pasts (or are orphans) and choose to live a life of quiet contemplation in exchange for caring for the Chantries.
Initiates - Men and women in training. After taking their vows, they recieved academic training, and in the case of those who wish to become Templars, martial training as well.
Clerics - The academics of the Chantry. They're one step below the Mother.
My assumption would be that Sebastian is like Alistair, on the path to becoming an Initiate, but recruited/turned away before they could take their vows.

Forgive me if I'm being redundant to other's opinion or the question has already been anwsered, but I just found out about this and I think it's absurd.

So, uh... Does anyone have any idea just yet why Bioware is announcing DLC more than two months in advance of the game's release?

I presume it was to show you what you get for ordering the Signature Edition, for which the deadline was the 11th.

That doesn't really change anything, it's still downloadable content way ahead of the drop date, meaning, it sounds like we'll be sold stuff that's already on the disc.dbankier wrote...

Scroll down the board and find all the redundant 'I'm unhappy with DLC at the start of the game' threads.

Before we all jump on Ploppy and/or sevalaricgirl, it is *possile* that their from a country/area where a diverse population is extremely rare and their meaning came out wrong. I had a friend in college who was extremely wigged out by red-heads. There weren't any in her hometown (it was VERY small), but she had no problem with normal minority groups.
I think for a lot of people it's not ethnicity per se, but different mentality that prevents them from forming a conneciton strong enough for a romantic relationship. I know most people from my ethnic group only date and marry within the ethnic community, simply because the mentality is quite unique. I personally think it's silly but that's cause I've lived different places. Otherwise I can see where they're coming from.
OT: I wonder if Seb wanted to become a Brother, and whether he is very religious. Probably not, what with all the thirst for revenge and murrdah.

I'd just like to say that if that's meant to be some kind of Scottish accent that Seb has, it seriously sucks! (I'm Scottish, btw!)
The actor really is Scottish too.

Really?? Bloody hell! Then again, Angus Macfadyen never sounds to me like he's really Scottish, and he is (played Robert the Bruce in Braveheart)!
OK, looked this guy up on IMDB, and he's from Glasgow, like me. Maybe the problem is they've got him trying to sound like he really does come from Kirkwall (in the Orkneys)??

Best Scottish accent ever in a movie was Gary Oldman in The Scarlet Letter - at least as far as me and my mum are concerned, and mainly because he did the most wonderful Glaswegian accent - he might even say 'bloody hell' in it! And it would sound better in his voice than mine!

The color scheme in in that trailer is very nice. The teeth are nicer. I like the textures on the hair and robe though the armor is sort of fuzzy.
Kirkwalls environments look richer than Denerim in this shot.
You know, his face reminds me of an actor ... man I wish I could think of who ...
Oh Jason Issacs ....

I didn´t expect this from BioWare either, but it seems like EA is starting to corrupt them

So people who got Sig Ed knew what they were getting? seriously some fans requested some info about the character before time expired. Mike Laidlaw said "thats a good idea" and blam...info...really not sure why it's a concern.Magx wrote...
