Besides, how will game Hawke know who is and who isn't romanceable. To me, it makes sense that there would be flirt lines in there.
In my imagination, he regretfully has to turn Hawke down. I've already decided that there will be a lot of secret pining for Hawke from Seb. yes, that's right. I've already got a story in my head. LOL
Oh, the awkwardness of that future moment
Hawke/Seb is already happening in my head too

The way I see it Sebastian will be like Zaeed but with Samara like flirt lines. Totally useless except for one unique mission and about three minutes of pseudo romance.
I'd rather they would have given us something or someone totally unique like Shale or just one unique mission without the pointless extra character like Overlord in Mass Effect.

I don't see why there wouldn't be any with Varric or Aveline for that matter. I'm sure I'll get a kick out of what the writers came up with for those responses.Finis Valorum wrote...
If it comes to one line flirts I hope there are some with Varric...
It's been stated that he's like a full companion, so he'll more than likely have multiple personal quests like the rest of the companions. As for being useless... I don't think he'll be useless. Why would you think that? The way I see it Sebastian will be like Zaeed but with Samara like flirt lines. Totally useless except for one unique mission and about three minutes of pseudo romance.

Well for starters lets look at what his defining characteristics are, he's a ranged fighter, a rogue and a prince. Oh and he doesn't look too bad I suppose.
However in the main game we already have a character who shares most of those characteristics because Varric is also a rogue, a ranged fighter and a prince who's kind of scruffy cute and has a cooler weapon to boot (Bianca, the crossbow I believe)
So for me this makes Sebastian completely redundant except as a potential Li or as a ranged fighter/rogue substitute for people who really don't like either Varric or Dwarves in their party or have a (girl)crush on the accent.
Since I happen to like Dwarves and have a feeling I'm going to like Varric a lot this means there'll be no room for him to take up a companion slot in my party.
This therefore makes me dissapointed with the BW Signature edition as Sebastian as a whole seems to be a far less useful character than Shale in DA1 was since Shale had the potential to add something unique to every possible character and party combination whereas Seb just doesn't.
Similarly a unique mission like Overlord would at least have added something to enjoy with every possible class and party combination (especially if the NPC all had unique comments on it Imho the only significant drawback of Overlord).
A romance especially a bisexual one would have given him something that would make including him in the party worthwhile. Though I shall admit that if Varric had also been a romance I wouldn't have gotten around to Sebastian until my second playthrough.
Therefore like i've said previously as things stand now I don't think i'm even going to go to the trouble to download, install and activate my free Dlc.

I can totally see your POV. However, I think Seb and Varric will have distinctly different personalities and stories. That makes it worth it for me, so I'm going to be optimistic and say that adding Seb to the party would be worthwile. I don't think they'd add in another character that's a rip-off of another. There'd be no point. I think each party member brings a different chemistry to the group.Finis Valorum wrote...

This doesn't mean that Varric won't be in my party. I love Varric! And I'm sure the party will get a +10 defense bonus because of the chest hair when Varric's in the party, and it will be GLORIOUS!

Well It's like Shale from DAO...
You get the Sig Edition you get him free, you get normal, you have to buy him.
He isn't like some pivotol plot point in the game that you have to buy before you can complete. He's just an extra character for fun.

No chance. We've got a full list on who's romanceable, besides he's a DLC character. it's possible to flirt with him though.
I disagree with this. In mass effect 2 DLC, lair of the shadow broker you could continue a certain romance with a character from mass effect 1. I don't see what's the big fuss about him being a DLC. Zaeed/Kasumi/Shale might have not been romanceable, but with the option to continue romance in ME2 latest DLC as an example , I still believe there is a small chance of hope.

Stupid question ... how do I put those in my sig? Do I right click & copy image location?

It is all right because that his or her preference NOT to have him in his or her group. As for me, he is my first pick when he becomes available.

If you preordered before 1-1-11 it was a free upgrade to sig, but if you buy it now its 79.99 instead of 59.99

Also we may not have a "Full" list, the list we have are just the confirmed LIs. There may be more, in fact in an interview from a few days ago Mike Laidlaw hinted that they haven't even give a full party list yet.Tehnazzy wrote...

I think they are trying to keep some info for us to learn on our own. And being DLC has nothing to do with him being a LI or not. If they made both the main game and the DLC with that in mind they could make it happen rather easy in fact.

However I stand by the rest of statements and I'm still very disappointed that such a redundant character is our DLC when they could have spent arguably less resources to do a unique dlc mission.
