That video was such a tease!
Video: "No... What happened to my family was murder."
Me: "Ooh, interesting!"
*notices that the video is exactly half way through (:26 out of :52) and anticipates more*
And then the video cut to the Hawke walking thing.
Still really cool though!

So, he's of noble birth, dresses in white, and has a list of people that he wants to assassinate because they killed his family.
good grief, he's the dragon age version of Ezio Auditore, he's so in my party now!
Indeed. Hahaha. I somehow thought of Ezio as well. >__>
P.S. I really like the armor, Bioware.
Seems like a younger Edric too...somewhat.
I just hope his quest-line works as a "killing everyone who killed my family" sort of thing. Also, I come to notice "quests" as a plural as well. does that means that our companions will have more than a single personal quest as well? (which is pretty awesome if y' ask me.)
Heeeheee. Someone else noticed. Though I think it's because of the hair and eye color. XD
Hmmmm. I think, multiple side quests are more feasible in DAII since it happens over a long period of time. Quests can be finished though I'm guessing new character sidequests might turn up as the years pass by.

Nice trailer, very short, but nice.
His two lines of background story sound interesting. x3

I was a bit upset with the production values. I mean, the 'dramatic coolness' is kinda lost on me when I look at his armor and see that most of what constitutes it is missing. You guys use a lot of technical terms that I don't claim to understand and haven't bothered to look up, so I'll just go with bad textures.vaporie wrote...

A bit more work visually would have really helped the awesomeness for me:?
Do you realize how epic it would be if that actually appeared as an in-game joke?Confed wrote...

(And this time, I would actually get, unlike the Its-a-me one, where I needed a youtube vid to point out a meme *shakes head*)

Missing... how? The armor looks complete too me, the textures better than anything in DA:O (I didn't mod any outfits), and I think overall the armor looks pretty damn great.

Yes, all companions have multiple personal quests. This includes Sebastian.
The bonus with this character is that every time someone says his name, Seb Hanlon gets to cringe.

Anyone else notice the release date was pushed back a week? It stuck out for me because we're now getting it on my birthday.

Is this why no characters thus far have been named David?

We know next to nothing about Aveline's personality. And who says she's mysterious?
And we've never heard an inkling about Fenris' family.
I would say there are more parellels with the Human Noble. And that you're reading to much into "broody". Everyone in BioWare's a little broody brood.

Really? Hmm.... Well, if you say so. Like I said, I don't claim to know anything about the technical side of graphics. Maybe I'm taking out my frustration with the jaggedy face on the armor. Especially after I saw these screenies, anything that insinuates that those screenies are concept art and not in-game footage disturbs me highly.

I skipped to :10 (lol) and watched it again. I think I know what you mean. It's looking a little flat and lacks that metallic shine. But I'm sure that'll be put in later.
And let me just say that the environment is looking nice and lush and I'm loving all the details.

Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember hearing that non party members could be LI's, so maybe he COULD be?? Or possibly I'm just completely brainless today.
He's a party member so whether or not non-party members are love interest doesn't influence whether he is.
That said: Sure. He *could* be a love interest. As he's a full companion, that is a possibility. A very, very faint possibility, but it exists.
Making the fangirl bait human male companion the non-romanceable DLC... I can only imagine it was Chris Priestly's idea, if that's how it turns out.
