@FieryDove: I think that may be him waaaay back in the back with some effect over him (freeze? Paralyze?).

I do hope he'll have have good side quests and dialogue. Sometimes DLC characters kind of seem left out.

He is Scottish, at least his VA is. He's from the Free Marches. I can't be sure, but I think he may be our only companion who actually is from the Free Marches.DJ0000 wrote...
Is it just me or does he sound scottish? Where is that accent meant to be from in the game?
EDIT: Ah no, Varric is also from Kirkwall. So Varric and Sebastian, everyone else is from Ferelden except for Isabela and Fenris. Man,The Free Marches must be boring if all of these interesting people are flocking in from other places.

Page twelve?! This cannot be.
Apparently Sebastian is in the background of one of the new mage screenshots. Hey, at least we finally get to see him in action!
*snip*
^ I just realized Seb, Anders, AND Fenris are all in that picture.
I don't see it. I see Hawke and Seb...blue crackling person is Anders maybe? I don't see Fen...must be blind.
Take a look at the magnified picture on page 82. He's the little blue sliver weilding the two-handed sword. He's right by Seb's hand/bow.

Well, someone should get to get in his pants. And if anyone can, it's Isabela.

If you don't have Sebastian then you'll only have two rogues (Isabela and Varric), so no, it wouldn't make it uneven.Ferthinvan wrote...
If I play as a rouge wouldn't that make the balance of classes uneven or Sebastian is an acception for all Hawkes classes?

Any word on what Sebastian's unique skill tree is? I'm planning on having him as my party's rogue.
He has the "Cupid" tree. He fires arrows of love and lust into Hawke's heart.

Out of boredom, I decided to write up why I believe Sebastian will be the first ever romanceable DLC companion and not just a character to stand around and look pretty as he holds a sign that says "YOU CAN LOOK, BUT NOT TOUCH." Anyway, just so y' know, long comment is long.
---
I'm sure we all know Bioware loves their romanceable rogues (Maker knows I do), and it's this pattern that gives me hope for our Prince Charming. Let me explain.
*ahem*
Zevran, Leliana and Isabela are all rogues within the DA universe. The first two were romanceable by fem and m!wardens in DAO. Isabela's been confirmed as an LI for DA2 and it's obvious fem and m!Hawke's may pursue a romantic relationship with her, if they choose to do so. You see where I'm going with this, yes?
Sebastian is a rogue. ROGUE! There's more! There's always more. YAY! MORE!
- He has a Scottish accent *faints dead away*
- He has excellent taste in armour (Assassin Creedish HOODIES for teh win! {ACWolfe approves +15})
- He's quite handsome (Personal observation)
- He's a prince, albeit an exiled one (Lots of folks consider that sexy; I'm one of 'em
- He wishes revenge upon those who killed his family (Situations like this can make a character appear even more attractive; I know this all too well, and this all-knowing has absolutely nothing to do with the fact there are over 100 historical romance novels stashed away in my closet
If those info bits don't scream "BIOWARE LOVE INTEREST," I don't know what bits would.
We already know we can flirt with him as well as our other companions, even the non-LI ones, but we do know flirting with them can only take you so far as they are not true LIs. Also, it's been said Sebastian has his own dialogue, side quests, and he's able to stay by Hawke's side for much of the game. He's just as much a part of DA2 as anyone else; the only difference is he's DLC. That's it.
As I've mentioned in a few other threads, I came across some of Gaider's comments where he expressed an interest in creating a DLC companion who is also an LI. We already know in one of the dev diaries/gameplay vids that the writers are trying something new as far as romances go. A romanceabe DLC companion hasn't been done before, yes? It'd be something new. New is always nice, and shiny. I like shiny.
Moving on, I remembered something that may further push Seb into the "more likely a romance than previously thought" spot. Awhile ago I came across a comment noting Sebastian appeared to be an "apology gift" to those who really wanted to romance Nathaniel Howe from DAA, but couldn't (for obvious reasons). So, if Sebastian is a "sorry Nate wasn't romanceable, here's Seb to make up for it!" gift, wouldn't it make sense for him to be, oh, I dunno... romanceable? Why say sorry to the Nate fans by giving us another dashing rogue who you can't fall for? That wouldn't make any sense and Maker knows sense is important! It keeps us from running around the forum in our underwear, babbling incoherently, and proceeding to drool all over our smallclothes. Scary, hm?
So, in closing, I strongly believe Sebastian will be our first ever DLC companion/LI for both Hawke's 'cos, hey, THEY'RE ALL BI!
(You had to see that coming.)

*giggles at the pic of Isabela poking Seb's nose* I'd be doing that, too. His nose is just too adorable not to poke! Beautiful art as always, Pseudo.

edit: quote size reduced
It would certainly be tempting to agree with you and while I hope you are correct, I fear that even if he is an experiment in DLC Li companions ,given the reactions by a not insignificant part of the potential purchasers who seem to view male bisexuality as a threat to their manhood, he will not be bisexual as I believe that EA's marketing department would view the loss of potential gay customers is insignificant when compared to either straight fangirls, who are willing to pay a premium for a sexy prince to romance, or the portion of the public who will fork over the money simply to have more content eperience points and thus power for their characters in the game.
