In the mean time, I'll keep the torch burning, hoping he might be romanceable.

Seb stuff is unlikely to pop up in spoilers unless it's someone with an
early copy posting something. He's DLC, and none of that is showing up
in the hidden Demo files.

The new trailer is pretty spoilerific, IMO, and makes his plot apparent. The only thing left to know, really, is whether he's romanceable or not.

I thought I'd put this all in one place about characters/romance
Romances:
If you wish to initiate a romance with a companion, follow these simple guidelines: Flirt with the object of your affections whenever possible. However, note that the presence of a Flirt option isn’t always a true indication that a romance is possible. In Act 2, try to ensure that your visits to Hawke’s abode occur at night. If your desired squeeze is present on arrival, use the Flirt option to initiate the next stage. When the option arises in conversation, enquire about living together. After the romance begins, do notmake come-hither eyes at other companions or NPCs: this will not end well. Nor, for that matter, will any degree of ambivalence or outright rejection. For the rest of the story, develop the relationship gauge to maximum friendship or rivalry, complete all companion quests (including any ambient situational conversations that may occur), deliver the necessary gifts, then share a moment with Hawke’s loved one in the calm before the storm during Dragon Age II’s epic conclusion (you’ll know it when you get there). For Isabela and Sebastian, the above technique only partially applies. The Companion Analysis section at the conclusion of this chapter contains a complete guide to wooing both (though Sebastian only ever offers a chaste relationship) but is surrounded by heavy spoilers if you are still on your first playthrough

Sebastian sounds like Scottish actor Alec Newman (Paul Atreides in the Dune miniseries)
Wow, that was quick. Good call.
Nice... Paul Atreides really?

So, no problem with killing a lot of people, but [[SPOILERS]] big problems with having sex. [[SPOILERS]] That reminds me something, but I cannot remember what...
Edited for spoilers.
That... is odd. Maybe [[SPOILERS]] the Chantry places a higher value on chastity [[SPOILERS]] than murder? I don't know. Hopefully that will be explained.

As long as there is a lot of character development for Sebastian and Hawke within this "romance" and the only thing we'll be missing out on is the obligatory "romance" scene on the eve of battle, I'm fine with it.

The Sebastian snippet certainly made the overall anti-Chantry agenda I had planned for my Hawke more unlikely now. The Templars seem like the big annoyance now, but the Grand Cleric seemed very amiable.

And Im with Chig here. As long as the story is well developed then its not entirely necessary. It will be missed no doubt about it, but as long as the story makes up for it I wont complain. From the trailers Sebastian is quite easily the male character im most interested in. No doubt regardless he's my first LI.

Short Story: I really liked the Grand Cleric, she was a good reminder that the chantry isn't necasarily bad.

He's obviously very religious. I wonder how he'd react to a mage Hawke? Or if it would have any impact on him at all.

This is true. My Hawke is going to be a Male Mage, so my thoughts on the Chantry as an apostate will be hardly unbiased. But the Grand Cleric seems nice. I wonder how she interacts the Circle and Templars.Russalka wrote...
