Its not the entire Chantry that's the problem. People like the Grand Cleric and Brother Gentivi view the Chantry as being a source of hope and faith for the people of Thedas. Meanwhile the paramilitary Templars and the upper powers view the Chantry as being a means to political and economic power.

There is no third option, not among companions. There might be love interests outside the party though.

It is kind of petty to say so, but previous games have had more female love interests. Time to have one more man, I suppose.

Well, that was a waste of a livechat. We learned and saw practically nothing new on Sebastian. The only interesting thing said was that Sebastian is the third son and was a bit of a wild child before entering the Chantry. But the short story already implied the latter.

Oh well. The wild child part shows us that he's no innocent.

I learnt nothing new about Sebastian from the livechat stream, I was hoping they'd at least touch the topic of his romance. I woke up at 5am for that?

Oh well. Hopefully some of that 'wild child' means he isn't that 'chaste' after all.

I hope so. I would be bummed if my male Hawke couldn't romance the adorable LI like what happened in DA:O.

I can't really tell who would be the better Rogue to bring along.  Varric seems more friendly to those who don't micromanage the tank that much (to make all of the enemies turn), but Sebastian looks like a boss killer.  Varric has Rhyming Triplet too which is fantastic (upgraded).  It may just come down to who has the better personality and dialogue.
