I skipped to :10 (lol) and watched it again. I think I know what you mean. It's looking a little flat and lacks that metallic shine. But I'm sure that'll be put in later.

Would it require that metallic shine if it's leather? Since he's (most likely) a Rogue, the armor is likely to be made out of leather. Unless it's been through some heavy treatment, leather generally doesn't fall into the shiny category.

Maybe I'm easily pleased but I have nothing bad to say about the character (so far at least), or the graphics. Some people say that he doesn't seem original character with all his "I will avenge the death of my family!" but I say: Lets wait and see... maybe there is something that makes his story more original.

Yes, all companions have multiple personal quests. This includes Sebastian.

The bonus with this character is that every time someone says his name, Seb Hanlon gets to cringe.

His armor looks ten kinds of badass.

I'm a little saddened he's not the "odd one out" companion a la Shale, Justice or Sten, but he does seem like an intriguing fellow. He is written by Bioware, after all.

Seeing as he's DLC, I foresee a right ****load of fangirls complaining they won't get to press their slimy lips against his.

All the release info said it was coming out March 8th, the trailer said the 11th --which isn't a full week, true, but does put the release on a Friday. Do games typically come out on Fridays in Europe or are they spesifically talking about the Sebastian DLC being relesed on the 11th?

Since he's a male rogue archer, I suspect that this virtually eliminates the possibility that Nathaniel Howe will be our returning recruitable party member. Hopefully we'll still see him around somewhere, though.

I believe our returning recruitable is Merrill. They simply said a companion from Origins.

hehe i would have guessed vi-elle myself, or vay-elle.     Vale if they were looking for a more american way of saying it -  kind of like foyer is pronounced Foy-rrrr by my american friends as opposed to foy-ay and fill-it of fish instead of fill-lay.

the only thing I'm sad about it however, how the hell can I choose between him and Varric O_O....



Maybe for my mage hawk I'll go with Sebastian, and for my female whatever class I choose Varric...



I personally don't think he's that similiar to Nathaniel at all... except for the fact that he's a noble archer who family got killed, more human noble origin then anything .... (Even if he is, Nathaniel was my fav awakeing comapnion anyhow so... )



So now we got to archer types though, a wee bit odd if there won't be any specs for archery now...

Also for some reason I suspect that crossbows will be stronger in melee (as in hitting close by...)



Facial expressions and especially his voice over is...AMAZING...

He's a party member so whether or not non-party members are love interest doesn't influence whether he is.

That said: Sure. He *could* be a love interest. As he's a full companion, that is a possibility. A very, very faint possibility, but it exists.

Making the fangirl bait human male companion the non-romanceable DLC... I can only imagine it was Chris Priestly's idea, if that's how it turns out.

I agree, it'd be just mean if they did something like that with a gorgeous character like this prince. I'm no crazy fangirl (I guess;) ) but know I'd be extremely dissapointed if he wasn't a LI for my female Hawke (she would die alone!)

Wow, Bioware is actually sticking to their word and not releasing him 'free' with all new copies of the game, only the Signature Edition.

It's a bit soon to be saying that. All we know is that it's free with the SE and that it can be purchased.

For all we know, it could be free with all first-hand non-SE copies (just like Shale) and they either don't want to tell us or haven't decided yet (it wouldn't be the first time if you consider the Steam thread).

Another would be prince? Am I the only one seeing the similarity of the characters? Isabella seemed like a Zevran clone in DAO. We have a redhead of Orlisian decent. And a tattooed male elf that's possibly bisexual. I'm not saying they're exactly the same I know nothing of their personality. (well I know a bit about Isabella) I'm just saying I see similarities.
