I had Garrus/Tali in my team 3 times. And everytime it was Tali shooting.

So, judging by hawat333 and JockBuster's experiences, we can suspect that Kaidan will never shoot Saren and Ashley will always shoot Saren, regardless of their being renegad'ed/paragon'ed.



The rest are probably on a scale in between. From personal experience and the above discussion, I'd suspect Ashley->Wrex->Tali?->Garrus?->Liara->Kaidan (who is always overwritten).

My last playthrough, Liara shot Saren. She had such a cold look in her eyes too. Brr...
