I don't know enough about any of them to be sure. I'm tempted (since we have three rogues) to go for an all rogue party and stealth through everything...

Whoever is the best bromance, probably Varric.I'm not real picky on what class this is as I always play on low difficulty on my first playthrough to allow me to focus solely on the story.



It may change due to a certain companions relevance to whatever situation I'm in but thats how it will usually look.

I always seem to get attached to certain companions and they never leave the party even if it doesn't make sense tactically like Leliana and Garrus so this could do a complete 360 once I actually start playing and get to know the characters.

I will say Vael will take time for me to form an opinion on, and Varric looks...interesting, I just am disillusioned by the fangirls raving over him. Reminds me of yaoi fangirls.

So you're knocking fan girls,  while suggesting the reason you won't be using certain characters is based on the fact you find them attractive.  Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?

If I was a Fanboy I'd be making and/or contributing to a large thread raving about one of the females. I'm not, nor do I intend to. There's a difference between valuing physicality and being obsessed.

Because juding characters in an RPG by looks instead of personality is a great way to play

Since we know jack about their personality, yea, yea it is. Ohhh Isabela's a rogue, she's a rebel, ohhhh. Yea, sorry, that doesn't tell me anything about her personality, or her usefulness in combat.

I'm trying to not to decide until we get character trailers or, barring that, I actually see them in game ... but it's hard not to start making choices early ! At the moment, leaning towards:

But it's hard! Because they all sound so awesome The only one I'm not sure about so far is Merrill, who may not even be in the game, and who may be SUPER AWESOME if she is, but I thought she was boring in the Dalish Origin. But she could turn out to be my favourite character, who knows.

2-Carver probably. For story purposes. I'm a sucker for those family ties.
3-Sebastian. I'm digging the Robin Hood vibe.
4- Whoever ends up being my Hawke's LI if he has one. If not then another mage for healing purposes as my Hawke will be focused on mass destruction.

Not sure, but judging on how I mainly played Origins, probably something along the lines of

Tank Warrior, so Aveline probably



Healer Mage



Rouge, for locking picking/DPS



Though I would have preferred Morigan than Wynne, so as the game most likely won't be impossible without a healer or tank on normal difficulty, I'll probably just pick the three characters I find most interesting and who have the funniest interaction together.
