Now that Merril seems to be all but confirmed, it may make things a bit tougher for me, which is good as it was mighty easy before this new character reveal. Rogue Lady Hawke, Isabella, Bethany, and Aveline was my likely party before, but now I"ll have to hear more about the new character, since I really dont know hardly anything about her. Its most likely that if she takes anybody's spot it would be Aveline's, but its just too early to tell, I need more info .

I was thinking on playing a male warrior first, but sinse I aways rush through first time...

Isabela or Varric
Aveline

And for Male Warrior:
Bethany
Fenris (maybe? dunno yet)
And a Rogue (No interest in romancing Isabela, so possibly Varric).

It's kinda hard to tell before knowing more about their personalities.

Some healing mage that at the moment I don't have due to none being released but Bethany, who will die in my playthrough.

Well, with the companions that have been revealed so far, I'm thinking

Mage Hawke
Izzy - Varric - C-Bass (I like the three of them equally, so far)
Fenris
Carver/Aveline (depending on which one I prefer) or, more probably, the as-of-yet-unrevealed mage companion. I don't believe in tanks.

Ah shoot, I can't really decide. I'll try to mix companions as much as possible.
