As anyone can see from my profile, until recently this account was tied into my DA game, and the stats, badges, etc, were flowing back into the account. Cool stuff. Then my game stopped recognising my DLC. I sorted that out but, in the process, the game demanded I create a new BSN account. So now I have DA always recognising the DLC (tick) and posting it to the BSN (tick), but it posts to an account that I don't actually want to use! I want to use this one!

I contacted EA and asked if the DLC could be moved from one EA account to another (ie: the EA account that ties into this profile), and customer service said no.

So if EA can't be bothered to make a few mouseclicks and actually help a customer, maybe this can be done in the reverse? Is there anyone out there who can change this account into the one that links to the EA account with the DLC which, again, was how this account was set-up until only recently. You can even see badges I earned only five days ago! This is such a frustrating issue, and it seems such an easy thing to fix... I just need to find someone who'll take a minute to actually do it. Any help from the Bioware people out there?

EA support is painfully ignorant, however, you will never get anywhere without live chat. Entitlements have been transferred many times in the past, it seems to boil down to luck with getting a knowledgeable supporter.

Thanks mate... I certainly hope someone can recommend what I can do next. The most frustrating part is, like I said, the fact that it's only a few mouseclicks to fix... so I'm very close, yet still so far away. And what makes it worse is that is *was* working, originally... gah...!!!

Get on their live chat and try again. You may have to be very patient before anything happens.

Oh, do you mean with EA? I thought maybe a Bioware bod could maybe do something on this end? basically turn this account into the one that the EA account is determined to send its updates to?

BioWare can't do anything. What EA can do is transfer entitlements (DLC) between EA accounts. If you get a competent supporter the process is meant to be pain free. I can't say whether this will resolve your original problem but it is what you requested.

I replied to the same ticket, and the EA guy said he would "make an exception" and do it for me. I'm very grateful for that, although I do wonder if it was quite the "exception" it's portrayed as and, given that he could do it all along -- like I suspected -- why he didn't do it in the first place? Ah well, water under the bridge and it's working now, so it all came right in the end. Thanks for the thoughts, Snoteye.
