It was cringeworthy no matter what explanation or "strong females intimidate you
" bs anyone tries to shovel.

She chuckles...theres a pause...she turns around just so she can go I AM OMEGA

I was just like >.>

Really?

They should have given my renegade Shep the option of grabbing her by the throat and pointing my phalanx at her face tattoo and saying "I - AM - UNIMPRESSED"

that would have been more realistic. And 100 times more epic than the actual lines they gave us "I like it!"..REALLY>?????

no amount of reasoning or explanation will save this cringeworthy interaction from being labelled as super lame

Do that and you probably would've been gunned down by the countless of bodyguards surrounding her. What's so difficult to understand about "You're in her territory." She's laughing at you because you just asked a question that in her mind would be like asking an asari "so, you're blue?".

I hope that ME 3 will give me chance to "hint" Aria who really killed her daughter...

How on Earth would Shepard know that? I doubt the Illusive Man would go
"Hey Shepard, guess what, one of my operatives killed Aria's daughter."

And Kai Leng. Honestly, I hope he doesn't show up in ME3.

I hope he is there so every one of my Shepards regardless of alignment can blow his brains out.

SB intel for example, or Miri's old cerberus contacts?

No it's obvious that timmy will do whatever possible to hide cerberus involvement in her death but like one of the poverbs say "lie have very short legs" so i doubt that this will stay a secret for a long time.

Ok, from what I understand, there are only two persons in the galaxy who knows who killed Lisette - TIM and Kai Leng. This is because everyone else who were there are dead (when the turians attacked the base). Greyson is dead as well, and there were no security footage or anything. So by that standard, it is impossible for Liara to get a hold of that info unless one of those two people decide to speak up about it.

Yeah of course how did I not see that before? Of course she's gonna give the order to kill me while I have a heavy pistol slammed up against her forehead. Right.

What territory? Because she has four mercs in her little booth guarding her I'm supposed ot be scared? I'm Commander Shepard, I eat rent-a-cops like those on my way to feeding my fish. Unless we're not playing the same game....

And yeah of course she's laughing at you asking "You run Omega?" that's another cringe worthy line that Shep never should have said. but I still stand by the fact that my renegade shep would have slammed her face up against the wall with my phalanx for acting superior and arrogant and like a total moron. Or at least in response to her "Don't fuc* with Aria" line. My Renegade shep would have made her eat those words. Literally and immediately.

but instead he says: "I LIKE IT!!" or "Meh, I have similar rules"

now excuse me while I pause for dramatic effect and turn around.

I AM DONE. (echoes in a loud club)

lol such a stupid scene....

You give Shepard too much credit. That's all I'm going to say on the subject.

I love Aria, and I think it would be a mistake for even Mary Sue Shepard to underestimate her. Aria has probably been kicking asses since before Shepard was a twinkle in his mother's eye. Aria will also probably continue kicking ass long after Shepard is dead.

A little showboating never hurt anyone. I took as a sign that Aria was feeling threatened and took as a compliment. Simply one badass telling another not to mess with her because it would be a shame if one of them had to die.

She is still a little naive during Retribution with TIM being able to lie to her.

True, TIM used her. Still, I can't blame Aria for not thinking straight when the matter involved her daughter.

Fair enough. I would love to be able to expose Cerberus to aria and have a mission soley spent on you raiding his facility and kicking his ass with Aria's mercs.

nah , even renegade shep wouldn't do that. at least not right away. aria's a ****, but shep needed info from her, and she's not unreasonable as far as deal-making is concerned. but if aria refused to tell shep any info, then shep would probably go all renegade on her.

I love how everyone seem to think that Shepard is some kind of God. You're in the Terminus, which is pretty much run by Aria and she has run it firmly for centuries. You're in a club run by Aria and God knows how many people who work for her are actually in there. So excuse her if she feels confident in her base.

But...all her base are belong to Shepard!!

No, seriously. I have nothing against Aria or her power over Omega and I get what you're satying. It's just that specific line - is it supposed to come off as intimidating? 'Cuz it certainly didn't for me.

And it has nothing to do with Carrie-Ann Moss's voice acting.

Uh, what does "all her base belong to Shepard" mean?

Also, Aria is really no big deal compared to Soveriegn, Saren, or the Collectors. I mean Aria isn't even a Matriarch and Shep killed a Matriarch quite easily! Yeah you can call her a badass but she is small time compared to Shepard and I am sure a RENEGADE Shepard would have told her that in some cool way. however if you were being a Paragon then the conversation went well. This situation reminds me of the fight with Fist in his bar, annoying but no big deal especially if you have Thane and Samara with you. Thane would kill everybody why you and Samara pawn Aria quite easily then you just fight your way back to the Normandy no big deal. Its not like your assaulting a Collector military base or anything.

I feel the same as well.  A lot of people think too highly of Aria.  I'm not saying Shepard is invincible, but just look at his/her track record.  I think the only reason why Renegade Shepard isn't doing anything to Aria is because she is still useful.  Even then her influence is limited to Omega, at most some parts of the Terminus system.  Personally I would like to have the option to dispose of her and take-over her turf or place Patriach in charge.

That’s about where I am too. It’s not really a matter of who’s “badder” or who’s “tougher”, as much as much as who’s the bigger fish. That’s kinda how I look at Aria, as a big fish in a small pond. Shepard is just on a whole other level.

As powerful as she might be on Omega, that is more or less the limit of her domain. Shepard has no such restrictions. And more than one would be “ruler of this and that” has already met their end at Shepard’s hand.

Given those two ideas it’s understandable, if slightly vexing, for Aria to want to put on airs with her I-AM-OMEGA etc. bit.
