I prefer not knowing what Quarians look like. It adds mystery to the ME universe.

That said, I find this picture interesting because it appears that she has circuitry of some sort on her forehead. I'm doing a new playthrough of ME1, and I've noticed in the codex entry on Quarians that there are rumors about the Quarians being cyborgs of some kind.

Probably just rumors, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did integrate tech directly into their bodies to a certain extent.

I like the idea of her being more alien, but she looks like a freak in a sense due to the eyes and the lack of hair, and/or face skin color tint.  But hey, she's quarian, not human.  Let's let the developers maker her face.  I'd hate to get and finish ME3 without revealing that mystery to myself.

I don't want to open a can of worms, but unless I misunderstand these statments, they are both based on faulty reasoning.

1).  Never stated they have scales, anywhere in the game, codex, wiki or dev interviews.
2).  Unless you mean the should be mroe similar to Turians in the sense that they look not human, then I don't see why they would look anything like Turians.

Unless we want to go add, "IMHO" tags onto all baseless statements like that.

Then IMHO Quarians all look like Slippy Toad..

basically it's a human in quarian suit. Tali is not a human, as much as someone would want her to be.

In one of your talks with Grunt, he mentions that humans and salarians are soft. He then adds something along the lines of, "Quarians... not so much." I tried to find a YouTube video of the convo but, alas, there was none.

I know that doesn't mean they have scales, but it does suggest that they don't have a soft outer layer like this picture shows. Or maybe he was just talking about their suits? I'm not sure.

If they do reveal what Quarians do look like then I hope they look more like aliens then humans. I would be annoyed if they suddenly make quarians the most beautiful alien species just to appeal to the fanbase. She has a slightly alien body with glowing eyes. She better look at least semi alien under that helmet.

With that being said I want to tell everyone that I don't dislike Tali(I like her character) or the quarians. I just feel like they shouldn't completely change things just for that. I just think that the aliens should look, well, alien.
