Let out the manliest of manly squees...Much like I did during the movie 300. I have a crippling GERARD addiction.

just like Origins, play it like a marathon until I finish the game at least 3 times with different paths, do nothing else in the mean time (except fleshy related functions, why can't I be a Golem?). good thing DA2 comes out near the new year where I live (exactly 9 days before new year) so I'll have a LOT of time. it's basically like a Christmas release for me!

Got it all pre-ordered, but I'm in the last year of my degree, so it's coming out when all my big projects start/finish.
So it's going to be a bit of a battle trying not to play it straight away/too much.
Just keep thinking after May/June, I will have all the time in the world till I get a job....

Alright, I have this all planned:
1) Take the day off from school/work. I have yet to decide if I am "calling in sick" or scheduling the time off, but one of these two is happening for sure.
2) Take the kids to daycare. I never, never take them to the sitter if I'm home for the day, but this'll be an exception.
3) Catch up on my sleep/homework the night before so I don't fall behind.
4) Invest in large amount of bawls, mini-pizzas, and frozen blueberries. With these three things, I basically can exist forever.
5) Enjoy
This will probably be the plan for March 8th, and the 10- whenever I finish. My husband's birthday is the 9th, and I have promised I won't even turn the computer on that day.
Oh this game cannot come out soon enough. I am so ridiculously excited.

Wait for Zero Punctuation to rip it a new one, pine for what could have been and continue waiting for Witcher 2 it seems at the moment (although Bioware still has time to change my mind).

Go to relevant classes/work shifts, pick up game from the store, then sit in my room while I stare lovingly at the cover art for an hour, before reverantly putting it in my PC and then cursing the gods because it takes twenty minutes to install.

2) Make stupid decisions by accident
3) Reload to previous save

The very thing I will do is input the codes so I can download the soundtrack right away. Then I will install the game and enjoy twenty or so false starts until I am satisfied with my character's face.

I will wait for the game to be delivered to me.
When I have the game, I will run to my PC and install it. Then I will install all the bonus junk and C-Bass.
Then I will boot up the game. I will spend a good hour getting Hawke's face right.
Then, as it is customary with my RPGs, I will play through for an hour or so and botch a couple of dialogue choices because I still need to get a feel for the convo system. Then I'll make a really dumb ingame decision, facepalm, start another game (and spend another hour in character generation) and only then will I properly have fun.

I will wait till the game has been played to death and any (likely) bugs glitches etc are exposed then see if for once EA/BW fixes anything (unlikely) then see if I get it bargain bucket for a few quid. Sorted.

If DA:O is anything to go by:
1. Spend an hour deciding on the class and looks of my character.
2. Play for a couple of hours.
3. Regret the choice i've made.
4. Goto 1.

I hope to be quick in doing my Hawke's face. I have a brother who'll use DA2 too, so my playtime is limited (1hour each)

I'll go get it from my mailbox once it's delivered. Hug it(yes I do that to my new games) dance around a while and start my xbox and put the disc inside it and then spend hours with customizing my character. Play for a while and if I'm not happy with my character, start again and if I'm happy, I'll get some food and eat while playing till it's midnight.

Cry because delivery time is scheduled to be EXACTLY the day AFTER a long weekend here in Australia. *rushes off to calculate how much leave is unused*

I'll be working that day so that's a no brainer. When i get home i'll install it and then do some Fraps tests to optimise my graphics settings then maybe start a game off and create a charcter. At which point i'll probably go to bed because i have work the next day too lol.

Not buy it, because every reveal thus far has been disappointment after disappointment. Every time I get excited about something a Dev pops their head in and drops a tibit about how it's completely not the way I envision it. Straw that broke the camel's back was Bethany vs Carver (for me anyway). Seriously they should've stuck with the DA: O way of doing things.. If I want to play "this" type of game I'd rather stick with the ME series.

Moan that some American kid is "playing" it, when it SHOULD BE ME!!! They're not even playing it right!!!
Then, when it comes out in England, I shall moan once more that some middle class **** is "playing" it, when it SHOULD BE ME!!! Also, checking up on Dragon Age Wiki for every sliver of information, spoilers and all. I'll end up getting it about a month after it's released and three days after commiting suicide from being apart from my one true love, (until DA3 comes out, or some other game that piques my interest).

1) Wait for my pre-order to arrive in the post (and hope it gets here a day early).
2) Take some well-deserved time off.
3) Install game.
4) Redeem bonus codes, etc.
5) Play game.
6) Repeat the above when Mass Effect 3 is released.
