2. I am going to Gamestop for midnight launch, and my fiancee' has insisted that I MUST bring a friend. She worries too much. So my best friend will be coming over round 4-5pm pacific upon March 7th. We'll probably play some DAO or NHL 10, while I'm biting my nails, all the while waiting for round 10:45pm pacific to dong. Then we'll head out and walk down to Gamestop for the midnight launch, and cringe at the MASSIVE crowd bound to form there. Stand around for an hour. Get the game. Walk back home while hugging the game.
3. Get home. Open game. Admire the artwork and instruction manual. Insert disc in my PS3. Redeem DLC codes and install game if applicable.
4. Power game for about 20+ hours....or until my fiancee' forces me to shut it down and go to sleep. >.> Yet to be married, and already she's got me chained down. Makes me fear for my freedom AFTER the wedding.

2. Stalk the clerks at GameStop until I have the game in my hands!
3. Hold it in my hands reverently for an hour or so while squeeing nonstop!
4. Sweet talk the hubby into taking the kids to daycare and picking them up so I can play all day long!
5. Talk nonstop about it until March 22nd when I can play it almost nonstop for 6 days (thank the Maker for Spring Break, an understanding hubby and daycare!).
6. Obsess and think about DA2 every 30 seconds until DA3 is announced.

If you're like me and tend to binge on a new game to the point where your mouse hand seizes up and you forget to eat anything, I highly recommend a simple kitchen timer placed somewhere far away from the computer. I set it for forty-five minutes at a time so that I'm sure to at least get up for a stretch and a drink of water.

Got it all pre-ordered, but I'm in the last year of my degree, so it's coming out when all my big projects start/finish.
So it's going to be a bit of a battle trying not to play it straight away/too much.
Just keep thinking after May/June, I will have all the time in the world till I get a job....
I'm in the last year of my degree as well, but I have been planing for months to keep three weaks after the release of DA2 empty.
I've only just gone back this week, and been ill *sods law* so havent looked at my timetable yet, but i got a feeling it's when my Final project is in the process of starting, just glad my dissertation is over by feb, writing isnt my strong point
Knowing me, as soon as its comes i'll end up playing it anyway, but it's hopeful thinking that I'll put my degree first for once.
As my mum says I fly by the seat of my pants....hahaha

Buy it. Lock my door. Messenger, Skype, mobile and all other means of communication are put on silent.
I go to Uni if I have lectures, but I don't stay more than 3 hours.
After this ''lockdown'' period ends, my friends always ask me: "What BioWare game were you playing this time?"
:innocent:

1. Wait for friday to roll around and get the game
2. Open the game and slot it in the ps3
3. spend 2 hours making a face that I like past the first cutscene
4. Make a dialogue mistake and start over from 3.
5. Be unable to decide on LI or change my mind about LI and return to 3.
6. Realize I have to study and ultimately put down the game.

Grumble that he arrives at his normal time in the evening
Wait
Put the kids to bed
Play until some unholy hour of the morning
Wake up
Play again after the kids go to school
Spoil parts of the story for the husband
Insist that it is MINE and it's not his turn yet

Play it to end then hope modding community can make it so you can zoom out like da1 and change party members can equip different armor like main character

So, if you like the game, you're going to be all around here with mea culpa posts right?

Come on, it's not like I just started reading this forum yesterday coop...you've been slamming the game for a while now and, if you actually do like it (or if most critics like it), I expect a mea culpa from you saying something along the lines of "I may not like everyting, but it's a good game"

TW2 doesn't come out till May. Plenty of time to finish DA2 if you can afford both.

There's 2 months between them, and TW2 doesn't have a preorder limit to get extra stuff. Though if I had to choose between them I find it way too easyAvalla'ch wrote...
